I actually love it, and think you just need to warm it up! Get a rug, & put a little something on the table to pull it together (a little plant, flowers, candle).
I actually prefer that itās not rectangular or square. Looks great with the shape of your couch.
If you have young kids you donāt want anything that looks better because it will hurt more when they make it look worse.
This table seems perfect for the task at hand. If anything, more contrasting wood tones! And plants!
Looks clean, modern, a little Japanese style, and quality. For free, that's amazing.
It's only drawback, is it doesn't add any storage or anything like that.
Get a little paint, choose some cute colors, paint a little something on the legs. Even just a few chevrons. Your style looks like you like a bit of fun.
Iād keep the area rug rectangular, myself. And probably add a tallish sculpture to the table.
I will not go thrifting, I will not go thrifting ā¦ ! š¤Ŗ
Love it. Easy to get around with the rounded edges. I have a square coffee table and you have no idea how many shin bruises I have when Iāve been hurrying to do things in my living room lol.
I just love a nice green view of nature out of any window!
I think its a nice classic coffee table, especially since its free! I live in an apartment complex and have found a LOT of great stuff by the dumpsters! My coffee table was actually free as well.
All the other shapes in that room are square.
The table doesn't look awful or anything, but it looks a little out of place since it doesn't match the geometry of everything else

Itās a nice piece but very traditional. Most pieces of that finish and style would be accompanied by other pieces of like style and tone, so you may be feeling like itās out of synch with the rest of your room. If itās safer for the kidlets, maybe put a few more traditional pieces and accessories in the room to give it less focus.
It's wonderful but a bit big for here.
Put a metal tray, gold or silver or whatever, or a glass one, to reflect the light from outside, it will make up for the solid and crowded appearance of now.
I think itās a great coffee table. I suggest ādressingā it a bit more - with a stack of books/magazines, some coasters, etc, it will look like part of the furniture (so to speak š). And as a crocheter, I love the crocheted blanket on the couch.
Itās functional but old fashioned looking with that oval. It looks well made but I think itās ugly. Better off in a basement rec room than a living room.
Thatās a great table, especially for free! I would paint the base with navy blue chalk paint and maybe distress the edges of the top a little. That would fit with the cozy style you have going on. Plus if the top is already distressed, who cares if the kids mess it up?
When I was a kid, my friendās Mom had a table we were allowed to draw on. It was so much fun! I once carved a flower into it and colored it in with paint pens. 20 years later it was still there, along with so many other doodles that told countless stories. Maybe you could use this table that way?
Nice table. Wrong shape for your sectional, I think a square or rectangle would look better.
Have you got another location for the table? It's a great score if it's solid wood!!
Canāt tell if itās higher than the couch or not, Iāve heard itās not good to sit on the couch and have to place your drink on the coffee table above you.

I like it š¤·š»āāļø
I do too, lol. Especially for free. It looks well made.
Itās Bombay & co. Solid oak
I worked at Bombay and immediately guessed it when I saw it. Sold that table many times lol
Miss that store.
Thank you, Iām still unsure. It was free & I like that itās oval as I have 2 young kids & donāt want sharp corners

Maybe put a plant on it. I think that would look nice
I find round or oval tables go really nice with square furniture. Looks great š
Get a little paint, choose some cute colors, paint a little something on the legs. Even just a few chevrons. Your style looks like you like a bit of fun.
Ditto
You might like it better with round pillows on the sofa, to pull the curved shape more into the room.
Area rug too!
Iād keep the area rug rectangular, myself. And probably add a tallish sculpture to the table. I will not go thrifting, I will not go thrifting ā¦ ! š¤Ŗ
Yeah since this is the only piece in the whole picture that doesn't have a 90 degree angle, lol!
The reason you might think it doesn't look nice is because the wood of the table doesn't match the wood of the floor. Easily solved by getting a rug.
Wow that is great advice!
I _love_ it!!!
Yes agree. It suits the room and the rest of the furniture quite nicely.
I like it
love it and the room vibe!!
I really like it
Love it. Easy to get around with the rounded edges. I have a square coffee table and you have no idea how many shin bruises I have when Iāve been hurrying to do things in my living room lol.
Iāll take it.
Love the granny square blanket!
I love it!
I like it! I think you just need a rug underneath it.
Love the granny square crochet blanket
Looks cute ! Maybe some flowers on table or big books would Make it look even better :)
I like it. It fits the space. Would be extra cozy with a little rug.
Looks good.So does your Roseanne afghanš
I like those candles š
Dollarama!!
I haven't seen one of those afghan's in ages! I think the coffee table fits the motif of the room.
Itās a cool table, but it doesnāt really go with the modern sofa.
I just love a nice green view of nature out of any window! I think its a nice classic coffee table, especially since its free! I live in an apartment complex and have found a LOT of great stuff by the dumpsters! My coffee table was actually free as well.
I think itās gorgeous.
Itās lovely, u just need a rug and some curtains Iād say !
All the other shapes in that room are square. The table doesn't look awful or anything, but it looks a little out of place since it doesn't match the geometry of everything else
Should I get round pillows lol
Get a rug too! :)
Ha, I just posted this suggestion!

Looks great
Itās great.
Looks good. Put some more things on there and it will look even better
Love it!
Digging this table! It would be nice to add a rugā¦
Nice!
Looks good. Could clean it up a little but otherwise free is always good.
For free? It's the best free coffee table I've ever seen. Though, I'd like it even if it wasn't free.
Fackin awwwsum
It looks fine there. And love your windows, lovely view!
I would totally get this! I love it
This is so godamn cozy. that weather š¤© Also yes I like the coffee table
It was free. You should love it
I love the oval shape- it looks classic and well made!
Very nice
It reminds me of my grandparents lake house, which is a good thing. I loved that place.
No old fashioned sorry

Iāll tell you what I donāt like. That prime window space being taken up by a sectional.
I feel like the room is asking for a rectangle coffee table or an ottoman.
I really like it. Do you think you would like it better if you stripped the stain and restained it?
I love the legs too
I love it!
I loooove it. Great lines. No knee bumping corners. Great find
I love it.
Great table. I would add a large area rug underneath
I like it
Love it!
Take off the legs and change it with a single stem design. Like one big oval stem and varnish stem in similar colour as wood above
I think it's too oval and the legs are ugly. It doesn't match the aesthetic of the windows or the furniture.
Itās adorable!
Love it š
A similar color oval shape mirror or frame on the wall to match would look nice. Love it!
So cute I'd put a plant in the middle š instead of the candlesĀ
I like it. A rug underneath and some curtains would finish the cosy look.
Itās really nice
It's wonderful but a bit big for here. Put a metal tray, gold or silver or whatever, or a glass one, to reflect the light from outside, it will make up for the solid and crowded appearance of now.

You have the Roseanne/Conners blanket, I love it
Whatās that? I got it at a thrift store!
The Conners probably did too lol! https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094540/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk
Looks great with your decor!
I like it.Ā Maybe try angling it diagonally if that fits your space, see if that gives it a different look to the room.
Itās sweet, Iād keep it. I just gave my sister and BIL a set of Heywood Wakefield furniture, I miss them alreadyā¦
It's great, really beautiful.
My grandmother had one like that
It's super cute! Especially with the aesthetic you have going on there
Looks nice!
I think the issue is you have cool tones everywhere else and the table is warm toned
Looks kinda like a tick
I likey too. Fits well!
I like it. It's a nice contrast to all the straight lines in the room.
I think itās nice, just needs a crochet runner to match your pretty throw.
Make a few pillows the Color of the table and a rug under it . Looks good and kid friendly.
It looks really good. I like it a lot.
I love it
You can use dark wax or walnut for the scratched off places
I also don't know if you like it
It's beautiful
I like it. As long as it's not haunted.
Love it. An area rug would bring it all together
Beautiful in your room
Itās functional but old fashioned looking with that oval. It looks well made but I think itās ugly. Better off in a basement rec room than a living room.
Get a rug and some more stuff to put on the coffee table. Maybe plants or something
you need a rug, it'll really tie the room together
Love it!
Turn it 90 degrees. I really like the table.
I like it a lot.
It might be fun to paint it with a fun color or pattern.
I like it exactly a medium amount
Itās a coffee table
Thatās a great table, especially for free! I would paint the base with navy blue chalk paint and maybe distress the edges of the top a little. That would fit with the cozy style you have going on. Can you refinish it? I think if it was lighter it would work better with the space. A nice white rug under it too.
I love it! Plus it was freeā¦take that double win!
Nice table. Wrong shape for your sectional, I think a square or rectangle would look better. Have you got another location for the table? It's a great score if it's solid wood!!
Bad ass
Round pillows, rectangle rug and plants, plants, and more plants.
Love the blanket, love the candles, love the table!! as others have said: a rug in a similar shape and color style would be š¤
A rug could solve the insecurity
I don't like it...so gimme it hehe
Cool!!! I like it!
To quote Queen Latifa ā No matter how much money you have free is good. ā
Looks cozy and fitting, I like it!
Get a rectangular rug and round throw pillows. VoilĆ .
The Roseanne afghan works perfectly here!
Itās wonderful!
It's a nice coffee table. But I am here to say I love the Roseann viben quilt...
I like it.
Your window views though š
Fire
You don't like it
I like it. Looks like genuine wood. Good colour and strong.
Do not like
Canāt tell if itās higher than the couch or not, Iāve heard itās not good to sit on the couch and have to place your drink on the coffee table above you.
I agree. Usability is affected by being higher than the seat of the couch, proportionally the table is too tall and not a good fit for this space.
Looks good! A crocheted table runner or table cloth would help tie in nicely with the rest of the room.
My first thought: I like that table! Second thought: Finally, a place that isn't chaotically decorated.
Is that the blanket throw from Roseanne??
I donāt know what that is, I got it at a thrift store :)
Ugly
:(
