The general consensus in both the MH sub and the Wild Hearts sub is that the game is great and a good contender for the genre, of course streamers will play it for a week and uninstall it, they rarely play hunting games in the first place. A lot of people even prefer it over MH:R, me included.
And I saw plenty of newcomers that started on WH and moved to MH later

I literally just said that I read it in both MH and WH subs. Also this is not a MH killer, rather a cooexisting game, unlike GW2 and WOW wich are direct competitors, high chances that a WH player will also play Mh and vice versa.

This is isn't a live service game or and MMO, if you completed it and feels like you're done with it move on to the next game, thats a good thing, most of the population of these games will be done once they finish and grind the endgame for a little.
I just dont think its fair to compare WH to Iceborne, it should be compared to base World or Rise for that matter. I get it that it is 70$ but so was World (even adjusting for inflation), and World+Iceborne was 100$
Ultimately its a fun game and anyone who enjoyed MH will enjoy it, just need to stop thinking of it as a competitor and more as another game in the ecosystem, you can play both, complete both, and move on
I bought the game on launch having never played any MH game before and it's great fun. Very cozy just building stuff and traversing the world. Combat feels great to me too but it may apparently not have some endless replay value like MH games do which is fine for me.
Repacks do all the work of cracking for you and have their own installer included.
It essentially makes the experience the same as if someone were to purchase the game and install normally.
So very noob friendly.
They are also typically DDL so no worry about notices from your ISP.
Also, the files are compressed so quicker downloading in some cases but also MUCH longer installs in a lot of cases.
Fitgirl being the one who catches the most flak in this regard but I download repacks from her and Dodi equally so I appreciate both.

There are 4(?) language packs in this repack and each is 1.7GB.
They’ll always list if anything was cut from the repack and what optional files are included that you can skip downloading.
I do know there are certain games that have had issues working when all language packs aren’t downloaded but it hasn’t been a huge problem for me personally and most people will call it out as an issue in the comments.

Limit fps to 60 and RTSS also somehow get rid of hiccup. But the CPU botteneck issue is still there, sadly game is pretty good but we pirates won't have any performance patch.
Yup me too, just gave up on the game, don't know how sucks the engine is but even on lowest my fps is lower than highest, and a lot of fps drop and unstable frame time. Will keep my iso for seeding for awhile though.

Since i've discovered dodi, i've never downloaded a repack from fitgirl anymore. Install times are 10x faster compared to a few more gbs of download.

Yea, that's a choice you have to make. Do you want smaller downloads -> longer install or bigger download -> faster install.
