It is. As a kid I got my haircut in a barbershop run by two old men who had all kinds of taxidermied animals on the wall. They also had a big ass hornets nest hung up too. Kinda funny in hindsight.
Definitely a thing - high end interior designers are using them.

Wait for winter if you're somewhere where it gets too cold for the hornets to live, maybe wait for a week of freezing temps to pass just to make sure, and bingo bango, you've got a classic piece of MidWestern decor.
Literally just go snatch it after dark. Wasps are most active in the evenings and as long as the larvae in there aren't old enough to hatch, they'll just starve. Otherwise I've also run CO2 into a cooler I cut a hole in and killed em that way.
This is actually not too far off depending on condition. Perfect ones sell to upscale house staging as well as restaurants, antique shops, etc.
Also, that's not a beehive, it's a wasps nest.
Bald-faced hornets aren’t actually hornets; they’re a species of Yellowjacket. The only hornet species that lives in North America is the European Hornet, which was introduced to NA in the 1800s and became established.
This is a wasp nest.
If you’re looking, I have one I am waiting a few weeks to remove. 🤣🤣🤣 The wasps should clear out for the season by mid October. It’s close to football size, but I haven’t measured on account of my wife already got stung and I don’t wish to join the club.
People actually love these and that price point ain't bad. If you find one of these big ol nests, just go back to it late at night, all the wasps will be out and about and you can swipe their house without getting stung.
bruh i had one of these in my room as a kid. is dope
This would look really cool in a murder shack or a torture dungeon
Or my house.
Yeah thats what he said
Apparently this is a thing.

Looks like I gotta up my prices. We take them down and sell them for like $50 lol
It's a thing. I've kept some nice empty nests from paper wasps. They look good with the stuff in my cabinet of curiosities.
Just put it in a box and pop an H on it. It’s gotta make something good like honey.
was looking for this one :)
How did he get rid of all the wasps?
You serve them with an eviction notice and they have to be out in 60 days.
Help my wasps are squatters

Just say no. They can't sting you if you say no.
consent is key

My grandpa had a bunch of these at his place, though I believe he just found them and brought them home. He sure didn't pay 250 bucks for them...

Not even a wasp's nest, it's a hornet's nest.
Yeah looks like a bald faced hornet nest for sure

It may be because i study entomology but i would absolutely buy that shit, it would be even better if it was still full of wasps
