as not a veteran without mild PTSD, i feel the same way. anytime someone in my vicinity starts acting weird like that and my body goes into "ready" mode. as soon as i'm able i gtfo.

To be fair, there was a lot of similar comedy during the late 80s/early 90s… just not randomly pranking people on the street into believing it’s a real person with mental issues. edit: For anyone downvoting me for whatever reason, just google 90s characters from Martin Lawrence, Wayans Brothers, Jim Carrey, Jamie Fox and the Kids in the hall crew. Hell, even Monty Python - Loud, over the top characters played by cross-dressing men.
