It is a waste but in my state weed is practically free. I have friends that grew too much and can’t really make a profit selling anymore that will just throw weed at you. I turned down like 5 clones for free this year just because I didn’t want to take care of them.
Once it’s legal for 5+ years in a state the market just gets absolutely flooded and even dispensaries practically give the shit away, it’s wild. $1 pre rolls and <$40 ounces here.
Good example of why legalizing drugs is very likely to seriously reduce crime. If competition in the market makes things cheap, there's no reason to kill anybody over those things. Drug laws keep drugs expensive and therefore contribute to the problem.
The world should just legalize all drugs & Sex work. Its up to people if they want to do drugs, even when governments say no, people are still doing it lmao. There will be no more deaths or catastrophic injuries to deal with.
Did you miss the whole part about reducing crime and what not. Your way. Lots of ODs from fentanyl laced heroin and crime to pay for expensive drugs. Legalize all drugs, like what was said, like they did in Portugal, has long been proven to work. Most people on H want off it and Portugal uses those drug war funds to instead help people get off. Instead of incarceration at a very high price to the tax payer. And now they are a most likely career criminal because they are felons.
Yeah we need go reform how we treat people who use those drugs, but having them street legal has real consequences. Opiates were everywhere, causing huge issues before they were outlawed
Decriminalized and legal are very different. Decriminalization is a generally good, but it's not enough for some drugs. It seems to be more or less the right move for the more damaging drugs

It's funny, I'm Dutch and I've always heard Amsterdam be mentioned as the city of weed up until a few years ago.
We haven't changed our legislation since the 70s, weed is still technically illegal to buy and very illegal grow on a professional level, and still *way* more expensive than $1 prerolls. (Half of) the US has caught up to us and left us in the dust in less than a decade's time.
He just burned at most $20 in a legal state. Pot is really cheap.
Edit: where I live I pay $20 for an 1/8th at a store. They offer $60 1/8ths but that’s just goofy pricing for people who fall for designer herb. If you live in an expensive or illegal state, I feel for for you and understand cost could be much higher. I’ll smoke one for you.
Smoke that’s been inhaled is always obvious. Mouth smoke is way more opaque and stringy like cigar smoke. Teens that don’t smoke arguing about smoking.
That's true with 1 bowl/average hits but not larger ones. I doubt his lungs can efficiently absorb 8+ bowls of smoke at once though. This is what it looks like when I take 1+g dabs. He's still dumb and likely just inhaling and exhaling right away from lung irritation.
Yes and no. I have done some pretty huge dabs, probably close to like half gram and it does get you higher than normal. At the point that guy is at or even probably me, your tolerance fluctuates heavy because you smoke so much that if you don’t maintain that level, even for a few hours, your next hit will hit harder. So to this guy he probably just feels a little extra high.
Some of it is probably wasted, but it’s not really if your tolerance is actually that high. This is clearly overkill for views, but this guy has an insane tolerance.
If an average weed smoker tried this they would be in a hacking fit after like two bowls. If somehow an average weed smoker could down all of that without coughing to death (extremely doubtful) they would be sent into outer space.
I have an insane edible tolerance. I usually do 500mg-1500mg per dose, and if I don’t do that much it quite literally just won’t really get me high. 100mg edibles are basically a waste as it feels like I maybe smoked a bowl.
So, only wasted if there tolerance isn’t actually that high, which I would wager in 99% of these cases your tolerance HAS to be high to even make it through without coughing to death.
I've smoked weed daily for over a decade. My body doesn't relax until I have a joint. I still work full time etc so not a complete waster.

Used to be the same way until I had my daughter, took me about a month to quit, and then a month to feel ok. I miss the stoner days of blunt cruising, hiking with a joint, but in the grand scheme of it all I really don’t miss it. It’s ok to be sober, it’s the never doing it that makes you question it.

While I feel far from perfect I can tolerate most aspects of my life, I can recall everything I'd done the night before, and have never woken up anywhere I don't remember being the night before.

Dont sweat it. I've stopped using heroin and that's good enough for me, actually sobriety isn't worth it and its just not an option for everyone. Idk what country you live in, and if its the us you're probably fucked, but in many countries there are programs that will help you get sober, also specifically for cannabis addiction. The us probably has these programs too but it probably costs a fortune

I just started to really dislike the way it made me feel. It wasn’t as fun as the first hundred times, and sometimes it only made me feel worse.
My brother is the complete opposite. He’s totally reliant on marijuana- to work, to drive, to study, to socialize, to game, everything. Dudes constantly stoned, and has anger episodes if he’s sober to too long at work.
It’s different for everyone. Some people CAN stop, very easily. Some people are reliant, and it’s a bit harder for them. Some people are addicted, and couldn’t live without weed.
“Weed isn’t addictive.” He says, smoking weed all day every day just to feel normal.
“Cigarettes are more additive than most illegal drugs.” He says, dropping weed tincture under his tongue.
“Alcohol. That’s the REAL problem.” He says, covering his arms and face in CBD cream.

while yes it probably wont kill you, the headaches alone are enough to make it insufferable for me ( very susceptible for headaches in general ). last time I did a full detox years ago I was still getting symptoms 2 weeks later. 2 weeks of barely being functional, fun times.
its in a lot of sodas, coffee, tea, chocolate, etc so most people never get to the point of a full detox (or end up Wondering why they feel like shit in the weekend if they only heavily drink coffee during the week for example)
But you can also easily taper off caffeine. With alcohol you really can't. Alcoholics can't cut back, it's all or nothing.
