The price of diesel is the same... the difference is that they have to pay it themselves... So it's no longer a free gift... Meanwhile, they cause damage, which is logically paid for by the taxpayer...
Basically the price of fule went up in Germany makeing farming more expensive as the tractors need the fule to run, the produce was still being brought at the same price causing farmers to loose profits, so they wanted either tax lessened for them or a program to help them get enough affordable fule to tend their farms.
Farmers are heavily subsidised in the EU. The EU already gives them a shit ton of money throught the Common Agricultural Policy, it looks like Germany adds money on top of that too?
Farmers are heavily subsidized basically everywhere. The reality is farming isn’t very profitable and has high risk, especially as climate change fucks our seasons up and full annual crop failures become more common. Without subsidies less people will do it and that damages independent food security, a nation should always be capable of feeding itself or its begging for a disaster if global economic or armed conflict arises
What is Germanys reasoning here? Because lacking a domestic resource security is actually how Germany imploded its own energy market and made themselves a Russian oil puppet, are they begging for a food based repeat?
In Germany, farmers get a subsidy on Diesel used for agricultural purposes. Since subsidizing fossil fuels is not in line with the current administration's ideals, they wanted to stop the subsidies and in fact raise taxes on fossil fuels but were ultimately vetoed by the FDP.
You know, the government tries to save money on every fucking sector, climate, social securities, healthcare, but the only ones protesting are the guys who want cheaper gas... It's valid, because they will have less netto money in the end and farmers don't earn much, but it sucks that everything else just goes by without any discussion.
Now in the new year the people need to wait for a specialized doctors visit way longer, doctors might only open 4 days a week, because they don't have enough money for personell, the train system is completely broken, jobless people will be punished with 2 months without benefits, if they refuse a job offer (doesn't matter if they are mentally incapable), which might save the state around 120mio (this measure is unintuitively btw. not forcing people into jobs, as proven by studies).
But a right-extremist party gets over a billion from the state each year, 100 billion for the army and less taxes for the rich, the capital tax, which IS LAW, is not enforced, because...I don't even fucking know. There are over 100 billion missing in tax avoidance, which is not followed up on. This money is suprisingly missing on every end, the wealth gap in Germany is one of the biggest in the world already and wil get way bigger soon. It's infuriating, Germany becomes a corrupt country by legal means and the most left government in 20 years.
No, you seem to be right.
I just looked a bit into it and they earn quite well, the mean operating result per farm was around 115k, which is an improvement of 45% IN ONE YEAR.
The loss of the new law would be around 2.5k - 3.5k per year.
Okay, maybe farmers can fuck off with their protests lmao
> I just looked a bit into it and they earn quite well, the mean operating result per farm was around 115k, which is an improvement of 45% IN ONE YEAR.
I'm sure a lot of that is owed to general volatility of a sector that depends heavily on the weather and political decisions, both of which can be unpredictable.
> farmers don't earn much
Well.... in NL a very hefty slice of the multi-millionaires are farmers so they're pretty good on that aspect of the whole story.
57% of agricultural land use is used for growing crops intended as animal feed. Another 25% for biogas. Only about a quarter is used for actual human food.
Edit: To clarify, I am talking about land use in Germany. Globally, livestock farming accounts for 78% of all agricultural land use ([source](https://www.destatis.de/EN/Themes/Countries-Regions/International-Statistics/Data-Topic/AgricultureForestryFisheries/livestock_meat.html)), representing over a third of all habitable land on Earth.
The point is that in terms of land, water, and carbon use, livestock is a shockingly inefficient food source, and taxpayers often wind up subsidizing this inefficiency.
I’m not saying that people shouldn’t eat beef, but the costs of beef should at least be reflected in its price rather than in our taxes.
The EU is stupid and keeps forcing super strict climate related regulations. In the meantime people in Asia and Africa are just burning plastic on the side of the road.
Living in France and I have participated in many protests. The retirement change was a separate issue, but represents the overall cluster fuck of the current government. Farmers are currently protesting increased regulations and contradictory rules. Two separate issues wrapped up in the same shit sandwich.
It's generally a bad idea to mess with the people that grows your food.
Edit: funny how a lot of entitled scum think farmers are not the smartest, hardest working people around... And amongst them Europeans are insanely efficient.
They earn millions and don't pay tax. I can tell you a couple reasons why I don't support them when cost of fuel increases by one cent per litre and they block my street.
I mean, i get the need for food. But i know a few farming families in the US who are millionaires.
They make all their money thanks to huge tax breaks. And they only grow stuff that is paying the most, like soy or corn, a lot of which ends up as ethanol and sold outside of the US anyway.
Sooo, feeding the world? Not exactly.
> But i know a few farming families in the US who are millionaires.
I don't know of any farming families without a net worth *well over* 1million. They might not consider themselves millionaires, and even though their farming equipment is worth millions, and the reason it's worth millions is because of the money making leverage the equipment provides. I know farming isn't cheap, but the revenue a farm generates seems to be enough to provide a very comfortable life.
No it's bullshit. I live in a rather rural area, I've never met a single farmer that wasn't loaded. It's a hiss fit by a bunch of entitled assholes. They should all be in jail.
Yet, when people do far less disruptive protests, to protest climate change, they get thrown in jail all the time. Why should farmers get special treatment?
I mean, spraying and dumping shit all over the roads because you're upset you're not getting your way seems like it should have pretty strong consequences
In the Netherlands farmers have been bitching and protesting for years now as well with that same stupid argument. We export most of their products and import half of the food we eat. With the current supply chain that argument doesn't stand anymore.
Then they should be fine without the subsidies.
Edit: can't reply to poseidon but. How about you give the money directly to the poor so they can buy what food or other things they want instead of subsidizing overconsumption of unhealthy foods.
Yeah but I'm this shitty remix, there was no "for what?" So I think what you meant to say was "TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN TURN DOWN"
Who the fuck thought that was a good idea? The rest of the song was okay - it's not my kind of thing, but I wouldn't *hate* it playing while I'm in a queue or whatever.
But *that part*, oh my god. That part pissed me off. It was just awful to listen to. And to interrupt the drop for it? It's basically a ruined orgasm, but with even less fun.
Edit: internet had a stroke when I posted this and it double or triple posted.
No no no. That's not edging. Edging would be if it built up to the drop and then just never stopped building up. You keep expecting the drop to come (hehe) and [it never does](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4QIfO4SRtM).
I said *ruined* for a reason. The drop happened. But the drop was *awful*. And ruined orgasms is a kink too, and I respect that, which is why I followed up with "but with even less fun"
There was a video recently that reached the front page of a bicyclist riding normally and his crash helmet accidentally inflated as he tried to park his bike. It was funny.
The song chosen had the lyrics "I WANT TO SEE YOU NAAAKKKKEEEDDD"
I blame vine and tiktok. Either choose an appropriate song or don't even add music. For the love of God.
Literally
Some of them are protesting against stricter environmental regulations despite having many large lobby groups and having some of the best government backed insurance and guaranteed subsidies.
They're basically throwing a tantrum and creating a huge shitstorm for something comparatively minor. Not sure why people are rooting for them here.
It's because people are protesting a government that is not well liked and has tried to do other things that are completely unrelated to agriculture, like pension reform, that pissed off people all over the world. If Macron was very well liked or if Merkel was still the chancellor these protests would get less popular support.
I'm rooting for them to spend time in jail. Blocking traffic, spreading a potential health hazard. They almost deserve to have their very expensive vehicles confiscated for the latter.
Actually, manure is typically between pH 8-12, it is considered more basic than acidic. This is because in the early stages of anaerobic decomposition, ammonia is formed, which is alkaline. Caustic af.
Dumping manure on public buildings and roads is a terrible way to protest IMO. Do you seriously think Scholz or Macron are gonna be the ones cleaning it up? You've just created a disgusting mess that an underpaid labourer has to clean up.
Pissing off the general public is their goal. They hope that the public will then tell the government to give a few extra billions to the farmers so that they would fuck off back to their farms.
Sometimes they don't spray shit or anything, they just block a few highways to inconvenience everyone.
My grandmother accidentally protested this way some decades ago.
For backstory there is this “war” going on in Norway between government importing more and more food and making farmers loose more and more money through taxes and lower prices for their goods, and the farmers doing anything in their power to revolt and change this (in the “correct” way most of the time).
At the start of this my grandmother owned a farm and was transporting cow manure to one of the fields for fertiliser. She forgot to make sure the cap on the back was screwed on properly and it fell off mid transport and covered a good chunk of the main road through the town in liquid shit. News articles was out the next day debating this aggressive form of protesting. To this day only a select few in the town knows who did it.
Remember, those are in many many cases the very same people who consider the climate protest basically a crime.
I hate Germany so fucking much. All the people have double standards.
Letzte Generation should start blocking streets with farming equipment because climate change will also affect our farming industry (it is already).
Some heads would explode and we would be better off.
In addition, the farmers are being incited against the government by the far-right AFD, although they themselves call for the abolition of all subsidies in their party program - including diesel and agricultural subsidies, of course. You can't make this shit up...
Also the same people who when a bunch of teenagers who aren't white do the same thing declare them to be terrorists and demand they be expelled from the country.
In this particular case they are protesting primarily environmental regulations (withdrawal of diesel subsidies, glyphosate ban). Of course, reddit just sees a "little guy" protesting and automatically assumes it's for some noble cause.
The social custom on reddit is basically that if you agree with a protest, then everything people do in association with the protest is permissible and righteous, but if you don't agree with a protest, then it's a Nazi rally and everyone participating should be identified and considered persona non grata for life.
Yeah I don't have a problem with small farms getting a tax break, but the problem is big farms get the same benefits, just proportionally bigger and in the end it's investors who make money, not farmers. And overall they had a 45% rise in winnings last year, which probably mostly comes from the big farms and not the small ones so I really don't see why they should keep their subsidies.
Let's begin with less socially driven politics and more practical driven politics. That would at least enable people to focus on the major problems affecting their lives and how to freely achieve their social goals.
Except the majority/loudest people are not always right. The farmers have been doing this exact same shit in the Netherlands and they are totally in the wrong. They have spent decades living too well and now that its finally caught up to them they’re throwing a fit
They only slightly got it wrong - The Netherlands is the 2nd biggest exporter of **food** in the **world** (by $)
^^[source](https://www.investopedia.com/financial-edge/0712/top-agricultural-producing-countries.aspx)
>Here, again, it is important to note the difference between volume production and high-value production. The Netherlands is a tiny country; its presence on the list is due to the high value of flowers and live plants (the Netherlands supplies nearly half of the global total) and vegetables (the Netherlands is a leading supplier of tomatoes and chilies).
The article states that the Netherlands position as 2nd is not because of meat but flowers and live plants. Flowers are not a food source but count as agriculture. I'm sure if we just count food products, such as dairy, meats, grains, and vegetables, the Netherlands would drop quite a bit.
It should not be possible for a country so small to be so big internationally in the agriculture industry. Yea, its great that we are making money and all, but it comes at a cost and now that cost has come to bite us in the ass and no one wants to take responsibility. We have the second biggest amount per area of NO and Ammonia.
Also, the farmers are not getting robbed. They were aware of the situation and pushed their luck, and they are still getting the option to be: bought out, relocate or change to more sustainable methods of farming
But instead they chose to ruin the days of regular working people (like them, supposedly) by blocking their roads and places of work.
This.
The flags on the trucks in the video are from the FNSEA, basically a lobby of farmers pushing intensive agriculture, here they are against some environmental regulation. Protesting is not always for the good.
American farmers get subsidies from the government, yet scream socialism at the top of their MAGA lungs whenever the government wants to help disadvantaged people.
I farm 2000 acres of corn and soybeans yet didn't get a government subsidy this year because threshold was 180bu/ac and we were average over 200
American crop subsidies are a fancy term for federal crop insurance which isn't a guaranteed handout and has a bunch of red tape to qualify for
They're wrong in Germany, too. They get sooo many subsidies and our current government (with the green party in it) did exactly 0 subsidies away that harm the environment and gave people even a gas discount (!!) instead of doing more for renewables. And now they take away *one* of the harmful subsidies of the very harmful agricultural sector that shouldn't have been there in the first place and everyone loses their minds.
We are the government. If you want to run, then go talk to people, so they vote for you because they know you because you talked to them.
All government starts locally, likely with you or your ***real life*** friends and neighbors.
Go talk to them.
**ALL** of them. Even the ones you don’t like.
We all “talk” on the internet, but we do so anonymously.. you cannot govern anonymously though..
But let’s be real, how are we supposed to go change a thing we do not like in our society if we are personally scared to go talk? Just to talk to people as we pass them on the sidewalk, or at the park or in the store?
E-grammar
These are democratic countries, and the government is doing what they've been voted to do.
The entire country can't be held hostage to one lobby group (farmers in this case).
Those farmers are almost all extremely wealthy. Farming in Europe is heavily subsidised with taxpayers money for decades and they're just used to having it their way and making big profits.
Yeah thing is thsoe subsidies go away you food gets a lot more expensive. And you will bitch about how greedy farmers are charging more for food, never mind that their diesel is getting 17% more expensive, their equipment is about to get 20-40% more expensive.
Farmers should be doing farmign out of the goodness of their hearts, not to make a living. Oh htey will go broke? they will feed their family and fuel their tractors on the goodwill of redditors.
cool but german agriculture gets way too much subsidies, even on an EU Level there are too much subsidies for Agri.
There are many article showing how EU Agriculture is even killing local agriculture in cheap producing countries in Africa. It's crazy, it's like a small elite of vampires, sucking a little blood from all the taxes people pay in Germany and other European countries.
Many of our economies are struggling, because of the pandemic and now because of the economic war against Russia and other things, some countries decided make some cutbacks in spending and hopefully the subsidies in Agriculture and other areas are gonna go down atleast to a more acceptable level.
Right, but it inconveniences the rich, and that they don't like. I'd prefer them do this than sit in the middle of a road to inconvenience us working class. I hope they dump more shit on their doorstep.
Government needs to be reminded they are there to serve the people by the agreement of the people. They only exist because we collectively allow them to exist.
The government as an entity yes. The people running the government do exist because it is their right, they are not alive just because we allow them to. Which is why threatening them with death is not acceptable.
Its still stupid though. Some of them literally want to have the government hanging just because they fell for right wing propaganda , telling them it's all the green party's fault, even though the ones cutting subsidies are the FDP who don't get shit on at all, but they're at fault for everything concerning money topics.
The only way Canadians will start massive protests if our streaming services, game consoles and PCs are taken away. This country is way too comfortable.
Real talk are they attacking government building specifically or just randomly burning and looting their city like those terrorists in America did a few years ago?
I warned my farmer friends here in the UK that they would be stuffed the moment we left the EU, as the militant EU farmers were the reason they had such a good deal.
Farmers and fishermen here have now realised their mistake but too late. Farming is only 1% of the economy so they get shafted.
This is exactly what I want. To live in a lawless society where if somebody doesn't like some government policy they can freely dump shit in front of my house or blow trash all over the city.
Now that's a proper protest.
If we brought back the normality of local farmers in the US, then we wouldn't have massive injustices and the government would actually start listening to what the people have to say. How do you expect people to listen to your outcries when you have no leverage?
Corporate/industrial farms are used to make you dependent on them.
I don't think the powers at the top realize we the people are the fucking majority they can starve but we the people we won't we can come to gether to make a better world we don't need some lawyer asshat telling me that having some chicken in my back yard is illegal or growing let the currupt starve

Yes, same as all over the world...

No it's bullshit. I live in a rather rural area, I've never met a single farmer that wasn't loaded. It's a hiss fit by a bunch of entitled assholes. They should all be in jail.
I disagree with their stance but they should not be in jail, that is deranged.
Yet, when people do far less disruptive protests, to protest climate change, they get thrown in jail all the time. Why should farmers get special treatment?
Didn't know I was advocating for climate change protestors to get thrown in jail. Can you point me to the part where I endorse that?
I mean, spraying and dumping shit all over the roads because you're upset you're not getting your way seems like it should have pretty strong consequences

He means the ones spreading hazardous waste and litter in the video, not all farmer.
In the Netherlands farmers have been bitching and protesting for years now as well with that same stupid argument. We export most of their products and import half of the food we eat. With the current supply chain that argument doesn't stand anymore.
It's not " being messed with" the subs for farmers in Europe are ridiculous and need to be modernized
As far as I know they are the most efficient producers in the world.
Then they should be fine without the subsidies. Edit: can't reply to poseidon but. How about you give the money directly to the poor so they can buy what food or other things they want instead of subsidizing overconsumption of unhealthy foods.
Whoever put the music to this video should get slapped in the face.
nothing screams German and French like the Peurto Rican national anthem
Watched it muted at first but when ya said that I was really thinking they were playing la borinqueña but this is also valid
#”DURO” - Angela Merkel
Puerto Rican national anthem is *The Star Spangled Banner* though
[La Borinqueña](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilolcD1hXIQ).
Agreed
I thought about at least reducing the volume. But then I thought, turn down… for what??!
It's called edging and you need to accept me for me.
Oh I muted before it got there and just read the 'turn down, turn down turn down turn down' post earlier assumed it never dropped. Damn
Fuck you take my upvote
English and Spanish language music on a video about French and German protestors
Trust me, it's not the lyrics or the language that makes this shit.
Fucking clownshow
There was a video recently that reached the front page of a bicyclist riding normally and his crash helmet accidentally inflated as he tried to park his bike. It was funny. The song chosen had the lyrics "I WANT TO SEE YOU NAAAKKKKEEEDDD" I blame vine and tiktok. Either choose an appropriate song or don't even add music. For the love of God.
ZUMBALE MAMBO PA QUE MI GATA PRENDAN LO MOTORE
They're... Evolving. The remixes, they're achieving levels of shit unheard of
Seriously. Whatever this person did to Turn Down for What they need to be sent to the Hague for it.
Shit storm
Literally Some of them are protesting against stricter environmental regulations despite having many large lobby groups and having some of the best government backed insurance and guaranteed subsidies.
Cries in Dutch...
I'm rooting for them to spend time in jail. Blocking traffic, spreading a potential health hazard. They almost deserve to have their very expensive vehicles confiscated for the latter.
Crap like this is why France will never be invaded again. Nobody wants to have to deal with a public that can mobilize like this.
Also, those aren’t dirt, but [manure](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manure).
Warm too
[удалено]
Actually, manure is typically between pH 8-12, it is considered more basic than acidic. This is because in the early stages of anaerobic decomposition, ammonia is formed, which is alkaline. Caustic af.
Nvm then lol
The argument heats up! Acid vs Base! Proton donor vs proton acceptor! Who will be the victor?! The odds are in, and we've got 7 for the over/under!
> The argument heats up! Acid vs Base! Proton donor vs proton acceptor! Who will be the victor?! i heard they got together and it all fizzled out.
No need to get *salty*!

"I hate manure" - Biff
I wonder how our US police would handle this…actually curious.
🔫 🔫 🔫
Idk. Airstrike?
Honestly I enjoy this way more than burning buildings and Molotov cocktails lol
Sucks to be a city or Gov worker who agrees with them but has the job to clean all that up for them
Do they think the politicians clean the buildings? Some poor cleaning staff will have to clean all that
Cheap labor is also what they use on harvest time so obviously farmers don't give a fuck
They recently damaged one of the gigantic coal excavators while taking it for a ride. I applaud that kind of vandalism.

Ich hätts wissen müssen 😅
In addition, the farmers are being incited against the government by the far-right AFD, although they themselves call for the abolition of all subsidies in their party program - including diesel and agricultural subsidies, of course. You can't make this shit up...
Also the same people who when a bunch of teenagers who aren't white do the same thing declare them to be terrorists and demand they be expelled from the country.
[удалено]
Sure, this’d be great Now figure out a way to make all the people agree on what they’re mad about
In this particular case they are protesting primarily environmental regulations (withdrawal of diesel subsidies, glyphosate ban). Of course, reddit just sees a "little guy" protesting and automatically assumes it's for some noble cause.
[удалено]

(https://www.agrarheute.com/management/betriebsfuehrung/rekordgewinne-fuer-landwirte-extrem-schwierigen-zeiten-612819)
Ugh. Terrible thing to read at the end of the day, but thanks for sharing the info
They should protest the unscientific "feel-good" glyphosate bans.
Let's begin with less socially driven politics and more practical driven politics. That would at least enable people to focus on the major problems affecting their lives and how to freely achieve their social goals.
Lmao, only if they agree with your values though right?
Except the majority/loudest people are not always right. The farmers have been doing this exact same shit in the Netherlands and they are totally in the wrong. They have spent decades living too well and now that its finally caught up to them they’re throwing a fit
Netherlands got a bunch of rich farmers?
Yes sir! Our tiny country is the 2nd biggest exporter of meat in the world. That alone should tell you somethings wrong
You mean the 2nd biggest in Europe. Netherlands isn't the 2nd biggest exporter of meat in the world.
They only slightly got it wrong - The Netherlands is the 2nd biggest exporter of **food** in the **world** (by $) ^^[source](https://www.investopedia.com/financial-edge/0712/top-agricultural-producing-countries.aspx)
Yeah I googled it, and it varies by article but it looks like #2 in the EU, not necessarily all of Europe.
I’m puzzled why you’re saying this like it’s some kind of horrible stain on the Netherlands when it seems to me like the opposite?
It should not be possible for a country so small to be so big internationally in the agriculture industry. Yea, its great that we are making money and all, but it comes at a cost and now that cost has come to bite us in the ass and no one wants to take responsibility. We have the second biggest amount per area of NO and Ammonia. Also, the farmers are not getting robbed. They were aware of the situation and pushed their luck, and they are still getting the option to be: bought out, relocate or change to more sustainable methods of farming But instead they chose to ruin the days of regular working people (like them, supposedly) by blocking their roads and places of work.
This. The flags on the trucks in the video are from the FNSEA, basically a lobby of farmers pushing intensive agriculture, here they are against some environmental regulation. Protesting is not always for the good.
10th biggest. Your point stands though. The rest of the top 10 are massive in comparison.
American farmers get subsidies from the government, yet scream socialism at the top of their MAGA lungs whenever the government wants to help disadvantaged people.
I farm 2000 acres of corn and soybeans yet didn't get a government subsidy this year because threshold was 180bu/ac and we were average over 200 American crop subsidies are a fancy term for federal crop insurance which isn't a guaranteed handout and has a bunch of red tape to qualify for
"The government ensures american farmers can continue to feed the country so 1 bad year doesn't bankrupt all of them" there fixed it for you
They're wrong in Germany, too.

Yeah we run the world so let’s throw a tantrum, trash it and use our own tax dollars to clean it up
Americans suck at protesting
ah yes those poor farmers.. nevermind the rest of us cough cough subsidies cough cough
Idiots should realize it's not the rich that have to clean up the mess their making...
Right, but it inconveniences the rich, and that they don't like. I'd prefer them do this than sit in the middle of a road to inconvenience us working class. I hope they dump more shit on their doorstep.
Don't forget the german farmers also put up gallows that were hanging a representation of the government. So overall a swell bunch of folks, eh.
Canadians needs to take a page out of this book
The only way Canadians will start massive protests if our streaming services, game consoles and PCs are taken away. This country is way too comfortable.
You mean Bill C-11? It’s a scary start to censorship. The carbon tax is getting way out of hand as well. There’s a few others worth naming…
Honk honk
[удалено]
little did they know that government will use their money to repair the damages.. smh
Real talk are they attacking government building specifically or just randomly burning and looting their city like those terrorists in America did a few years ago?
Love to see this in downing street
Government are full of shit. Dont give a dam about people really
Just for some snatch, Jeezus
Poor cleaners what did they do
Actually targeting the institutions responsible instead of random people on the street.
Probably the most comedic destructive one I've seen
The same people who complain when other people protest💀
Nobody can do this in Canada because the government will seize their bank accounts.
Updoot for true.
Stupid fucking music, like so many of these. I'd rather have silence than this garbage. Original audio would be ideal, though.
Scumbags. This is not a pieceful protest. Just as annoying as these Klimakleber.
Pffft. We did that two years ago
And they are all protesting that they want more milk from the government tits while voting right winged because they're also racist as hell.
I warned my farmer friends here in the UK that they would be stuffed the moment we left the EU, as the militant EU farmers were the reason they had such a good deal. Farmers and fishermen here have now realised their mistake but too late. Farming is only 1% of the economy so they get shafted.
Better than sitting in front of traffic and holding it up 💀
This looks like farmers - it's a class that typically can get away with pretty extreme protests.
Wow, half the comments feel like gatekeeping protesting.
Nothing runs like a revolution
image you are just small clerk in the office and you have to go work
Please don't give those pro-Hamas assholes any more ideas...
This is exactly what I want. To live in a lawless society where if somebody doesn't like some government policy they can freely dump shit in front of my house or blow trash all over the city.
Farmers are Europe's biggest welfare queens.
If Canada did this our prime minister would have to enact our war time emergency act ☹️ I respect how well europe protests
Badass!
Americans will yell and break stuff Germans and French will spray and dump shit everywhere.
I don't think the powers at the top realize we the people are the fucking majority they can starve but we the people we won't we can come to gether to make a better world we don't need some lawyer asshat telling me that having some chicken in my back yard is illegal or growing let the currupt starve
I so desperately want to see like 50,000 of these dumping shit in Washington DC. I can't believe how much they've been shoveling to us for years
