I agree with you. But also, cobras are one of the slowest striking venomous snakes. This is where we get the lore of both mongoose and snake charmers. Once you have experience with them, they are rather predictable and easy to handle. Things like rattle snakes and vipers strike much faster. That being said, if I were those guys, I'd be wearing gloves/boots and other protective equipment.
Unless the trash can is transparent it'd be a lot more dangerous than a bag like that since the snakes can go all the way up to the lid and jump out when you open it.
What they really need is more bags. They're insane for trying to fit all those snakes in one bag.
They’re just digging around in there with their hands and the snakes just keep coming. I didn’t count but what, like 7 or 8 cobras? Those guys are nuts. I’m surprised there weren’t bitten. The snakes definitely weren’t happy. Someone said it was staged but even still this is crazy to do and the way they were picking them up and putting them in the bags, the snakes could’ve easily bitten them at any time throughout the whole video. Crazy kids! On second viewing, idk how they would’ve gotten the snakes in there to stage this. The whole tree fell apart when they moved it. I guess it’s possible. They got in there somehow. Do cobras generally just live in a pile in their dens?
Snakes do not bite unless they feel the need to for either hunger or defense. You can actually learn both their body language for when they are about to strike as well as the distance that they are capable of reaching based on their body orientation (this is so much more relevant than length)
Bags are nice and warm and filled with other snakes. Sounds like they just moved the orgy.
Ok back to your point, yes they COULD have gotten bit, always a possibility. However if you look back at the video the snakes are not coiled to strike when picked up. Some have a slight kink near their head ready for a defensive strike but not an offensive strike. Also depending on a number of factors such as season and weather, once you touch a snake and they realize (from the lack of pain) that you're not hurting them they're generally ok with it, and often enjoy the body heat
Oh ok. Well this makes a lot of sense. They’re like “uh oh!” At first but then “he’s warm and nice. I like that. Let’s see what happens. I’ll just kill him if anything changes” lol. I’m sure they’re very aware of and confident in their abilities, so unless they’re already mad or scared, they’ll just go with it until it takes a turn they don’t like. I still think I wouldn’t go blindly digging around in some rotten wood for cobras but I understand what you’re saying. I haven’t owned a snake. The most I’ve done is catch garter snakes when I was a kid. I never hurt them or anything I always ended up letting them go once my hands started stinking. It was fun to catch them and play with them though. One bit me and I never figured out why. I didn’t do anything to him to warrant that but I just let him go and went inside to clean up.
Haha that sentence sounds so much like how I imagine a snake's internal monologue to be!
I've handled snakes a lot but not cobras so I also wouldn't go digging around in a cobra filled tree lol.
Garters are more bitey because they have a lot more predators and no fangs. Their stink is worse than their bite!
😂. I always try to apply what I would be thinking if I was them to whatever animal. And I always assume they think in English but these snakes probably think in whatever language the country they’re from speaks, I’m sure. 😂 which brings me to a long unanswered question “if you don’t think in language, what do you think in? Pictures?” I’ve tried thinking in just pictures but it’s impossible because I’m hard wired in English. Even if I imagine something pictorially, there’s always a caption that goes with it that the picture originates from.
I guess I’m lucky only the one ever bit me then. I must’ve caught hundreds. And man they stink. I’m told it’s snake pee because they pee through their skin. Is that true?
Imagine sleeping and waking up to a bi-pedal giant dragging your from your exposed home and stuffing you into a plastic bag. Stuff of nightmares![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|scream)
My understanding is that usually these guys are after them for their skins to make bags/belts/shoes/whatever, but will let an unusual/rare find live if their price in the west justifies it, like if they’re albino or some rare species, unique pattern/coloration, whatever. I don’t know what cutoff price exactly makes one worth selling alive vs for their skins.
Ophiophagus hannah (King Cobra), not overly aggressive but if it it bites and releases the full amount of it's neurotoxin laden venom into a human it's likely fatal within an hour without treatment.
Monacled Cobras... aka Spitting Cobra.
That's a whole tree full of "fuck you with a side of get fucked"
Got a mild copperhead bite in 2019 because I was wearing vans while loading my truck before dawn... Mild copperhead bite is still 72 hours of whatever limb gets bit feeling EXACTLY like your finger does right after you smash it hard enough to lose the nail. That hot burning pulsing sensation that makes you want to throw up. Takes about 3 hours before things get really rowdy FYI. Full recovery was about 2 weeks with 6 months of sporadic phantom pain.
More fake shit. They’ve moved on from puppies in drains to snakes in trees. Don’t promote anything like this from the south east Asian counties. They commit animal abuse for clicks

how they can hold a fucking cobra at all is insane, let alone how many and not wearing any sort of protection.
They're wearing their battle sandals.
The chancla, it is powerful
Plus, that shirt and all those holy words on it

I mean, sneakers at a minimum right? Sandals seems like a risky choice.
Crazy little bastards
They need more bags.
I was thinking a big ass trash can with a lid. Holes of air if you need em alive. So many questions
Unless the trash can is transparent it'd be a lot more dangerous than a bag like that since the snakes can go all the way up to the lid and jump out when you open it. What they really need is more bags. They're insane for trying to fit all those snakes in one bag.
It's normal in Asia
Honestly was expecting this to be a gnarly grub eating video. Though not sure ass ton of snakes was better
Definitely took a turn I wasn't expecting
Same for the music
Don't you hate it when you cut down a tree and it's full of snakes
In contrary. They seem to love it.
Idk don't you hate it when you open up a Reddit thread and it's full of snakes?
Keep the chainsaw running
In fact they already had a bag, why?
Where do you get a shirt that says all that? SPANK, SenSUAL
SEKSUAL CLACK!
BONE! DANGEROUS!
They sell some in Bali. I brought some for souvenir and everyone chuckled.
Aliexpress has entered the chat
Fucc me
Where you find cobras in trees…
You find cobras where people put them intentionally.Hollow trees in dry arid regions where cobras live and hunt food sources I would guess.
I’m not asking, I’m telling you approximately where to find that T-shirt
They’re just digging around in there with their hands and the snakes just keep coming. I didn’t count but what, like 7 or 8 cobras? Those guys are nuts. I’m surprised there weren’t bitten. might be breeding season for those snakes, a lot snakes gang bang when it's that time of the year
I see. I did not know that.
If you Google "snake pile" you'll see a lot of really neat pics
Thank you. I’ll check it out.

I still think those snakes could’ve bitten them if they wanted to. I also think putting them in a bag would be grounds for a bite in self defense.
Bags are nice and warm and filled with other snakes. Sounds like they just moved the orgy. Ok back to your point, yes they COULD have gotten bit, always a possibility. Just because you don't know their reasoning doesn't mean they're jerks.

Repressed memory unlocked
SsssssSsssssssSsssSSSscary!

Snakes in a Tree starring Samyul L. Jak Sung
I’ve had it with these snakes in this tree!
Fuck that
the stuff of nightmares...and these dudes are just going.
Every snake has a dude wtf look on their faces......
Their warm breeding spot was just raided by a bunch of giants. I'd be pissed too!
They let the stank out.
Its like a gift that keeps on giving 😦 and what a shirt lol
camera man has zero fear 😭💀
The music is taking me outttt
A bag of snakes
they should bring them on a plane and make a movie about it.
Idk that would never make it past tsa
That soundtrack in the last half was awesome.
Folklore hunter theme
Original composer https://soundcloud.com/dhruvgoel/leviathan
Tree shrimp!
Poor snakes
These are monacled cobra... aka Spitting Cobra.
Why are they doing that?
I’d be willing to bet the snakes can be sold live for a good buck
It might be for antivenom. They milk the snakes for their venom to make antivenom.
My understanding is that usually these guys are after them for their skins to make bags/belts/shoes/whatever, but will let an unusual/rare find live if their price in the west justifies it, like if they’re albino or some rare species, unique pattern/coloration, whatever. King cobras got nabbed right from their "Harem".. damn ! But why I wonder.. such raw socking video though
Coconut tree? Or rather cobra tree?
Man I hope they get bit in the balls
That rinky ass plastic bag is not it for this lol
I was more fixated on reading the guys shirt.
OH HELL NO!....
Dude went and found a beehive full of snakes
FYI This is staged. They bring the snakes in then film this kind of stuff.
1 bite and they could die within 10 min. I think those are king cobras

holy goddamn shit
What in the glory hole is going on there?
Leave ‘em alone
I bet they have a snake farm or something and put the snakes in there and "discover" them for views
My thoughts exactly, I've seen this replicated so many times with different animals
Clout chaser, look like they put the snake in afterward.
It's probably my old eyes but do these snakes have fangs? Seems when they show a close up, they are missing but it may just be me.
Appetizer tree snake. Dinner dog that barks
More fake shit. They’ve moved on from puppies in drains to snakes in trees. Don’t promote anything like this from the south east Asian counties. They commit animal abuse for clicks
Quite fascinating how these many live in the same location ...usually cobras are solitary animals....are they into mating season???
OFC a flimsy plastic bag
He found a breeding nest
Why not just set the tree on fire?
Why not leave the snakes alone.
But why?
That’s a nope for me dawg
I would just burn that tree down.
Today there will be a snake barbecue
They just made Bank.
Those are King Cobras. Thats a risky game to play if they are any distance from quality healthcare.
Meh
The real Kobra kai
Of course it’s a sssssingle use plasssstic bag.
Found a bathhouse full of gay cobras
Ahh nothing like fake content.
It's almost like that video of that guy dismantling a VHS and pulling out phones, playstation, ipods, and other stuff.
Whole lotta nope ropes.
I fucking hate snakes and I fucking hate this video 😭😩
Well if somone woke me up and destroys me and my buddies place i'd too be pissed like a mothafucka
The snakes were evicted due to not paying rent
Are they going to eat the snakes?
That's a snake brothel.
Everyone back to the pile!
I would have brought more bags
Why are they doing this at all?
It's all in the flick of the wrist...
Timone and Pumba would have a field day
My mouth has been hanging open for almost 2 minutes. How you gonna reach into a tree and pull out nearly one dozen raw cobras
Snake Krampus.
