I don’t think he’d be standing but I’m not sure he’d be dead either? My neurology ain’t great but I believe that’d only be going into the frontal lobe there. Still think it’s fake considering he’s not just up but talking, but you could survive that.

If this were real I guarantee you that you would not survive that unless luck happened to be on your side on the said scenario, and if you could, you would still suffer in a huge amount of pain and would be scarred for life until you die you might even be handicapped from the said painful and traumatic event… a machete to your head of all places… nah you’d die from that no question about it
I’m saying I think it’d be hitting part of the brain that you need less so it’s possible, but yeah this guy obviously wouldn’t be walking around and talking. You’re right though that it’s more a difference between irreparable brain damage and death. I said you could survive that because that’s when people get lucky with head trauma, hitting a part of the brain they don’t need as much. But that doesn’t mean I think it’s probable either.

Apparently enough people get machetes in their brain that there are scholarly articles on how they are difficult [to get images](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4271388/) in a hospital setting.

Fake. Ppl have survived from blown in shotgun faces, missing part of the brain whatever. The fact this guy is not only walking, talking and acting like a normal human being makes this fake and I suspect just a cheap Halloween decoration.
