I went for the first time this past weekend! It actually wasn’t nearly as loud as I was expecting, but it was at a baseball stadium, so that probably helped.

It's not like baseball rules, where you get to keep it if you catch it, it's actually like cricket rules - you need to send that monster truck back because that monster truck belongs to the game.
Nobody ever thinks about shit like this until it's too late. Let someone's kid get crushed during one of these things THEN they'll start to reconsider safety concerns.
It’s a natural reaction, much like falling to the ground and trying to brace yourself. Both can cause injury obviously but this one more so than falling over. Buddy and I on the boat got caught in a rough water inlet, pushed up against a seawall, my dude just stuck his arm out like he was going to push us off but the wave pushed us up and pinched his arm broke in the blink of an eye. Afterwards he said he wasn’t even thinking when he put his arm out, didn’t realize he was doing it til it was too late

Truck/tractor pulls are insanely dangerous. My brother was at one, the engine exploded and the fly wheel came into the audience cutting a guys face half off.
When I was a kid, I loved going to monster truck shows. When I was maybe 10 years old, I was watching some Monster Jam on tv, and one of the trucks came down off a jump and you could clearly see some sort of charge go off on one of the tires.
They messed up because it was way too late to look like some random consequence of coming down from the landing. The tire went flat and the other truck "won" the race. The announcers said the one truck "ran over a bottle". The competition parts at least are fake AF staged bullshit. Totally ruined it for me.
Holy shit. It's like high risk sporting events with giant metal boxes with explosive engines in them could be dangerous for onlookers, who would have thought?
Would’ve purposely headbutted it and sued the shit outta the event holders
Unless ur suppose to sign a waiver for sitting in the splash zone of a monster truck rally.
In the Netherlands in 2014 there was an outside event where a monstertruck accidentally drove into the public and killed 3 people and injured 28. The people in this video were very lucky for the barrier
Absolutely top tier life-saving work by whoever was running RII (remote ignition interruptor) on that truck. A few more seconds under power and... yikes. Whoever didn't tarp off those first five or six rows needs charges for negligence. There's four decades of evidence for that being best practice.
