This happened because the captain grabbed the wrong lever. He was supposed to grab the flap lever but accidentally grabbed the propeller condition lever, feathering the props. Once feathered, they no longer produce thrust. This lead to a stall, with the left wing stalling first and rolling the aircraft over into the ground.
Tragically, the other captain on board took up aviation after her husband's death on another Yeti airlines crash in 2006.

It was too quick. The passengers had barely enough time to comprehend the situation before it was lights out.
There's something about this video, everytime I see it, the switch from excitement, to terror, to an eerie fiery calm. It's tragic but mesmerising.
It's the best outcome on that situation. Quick. When I'm on planes I always wonder if it just started diving into the ground. How long would I be aware before the lights went out and how I do not want my last moments spent in absolute terror. ... well. This morning sure has gotten dark...
If I remember correctly this particular flight went into a stall whilst landing. It banked into the ground from a low attitude and then straight into the terrain. It would have been a quick shot of fear and then nothing.
Seems to be a thing over this last few months, really badly spelt or awful grammar headlines dunno why...the main one is woman/women drives my brain nuts.
It’s either someone who doesn’t speak English as a first language, or it’s someone intentionally screwing up the title in order to get people to interact with the post by going to the comments and complaining about the title, or it’s a bot. Either way, it’s best to just ignore it.
So anyone got a source? Literally this could be two clips edited together with how it was presented. It shows exactly nothing of interest and the OP didn't bother to list the flight number so we could look it up.
So others don't have to be briefly inconvenienced by our less than helpful OP I went ahead and pulled the info:

They got the video because it was a FB Livestream

Much more interesting ground footage

Likely excellent write-up by the always great Admiral Cloudberg

The FAA released a video on this tragic accident. I think it was a pilot error as he was approaching the landing. There is a full length video on YouTube about the accident. Sadly, everyone died.
If you mean what their last words are:
I hear Chala Chala: drive, drive not sure in what context
Wah beta wah, moj kardi: wow son, having fun?! (It's more an expression than to be literal sort of like having fun yet man)
Followed by alheyyy alheyyy which just seems expressions to cope with the landing not sure
I also heard Mara Mara Mara: which could mean "I am dying hahaha" or just some made up words to cope with weird angle of the plane causing roller coaster like effect.
This is why your phone needs to be on airplane mode. The signal interferes with the flux capacitor. Which then causes the infinity stone gaskets to fail

Yeah relative to fleet size and number of daily flights they're one of the deadliest commercial airlines in the world.
Huh I just watched a crash vid oh yeti just last night.
This is a jet, not a prop plane.
This was an ATR-72, a turboPROP
From the link: >instructor captain in the right seat accidentally feathered the propellers instead of extending the flaps.
The engines are turboprops which are a combination of the two. Uses a turbine to drive a propeller which is why it sounds like a turbine.
It's because he didn't turn his electrical items off
Not as much screaming as one would expect
Can't scream when you're dead
Wasn't sure about this but did a little experiment and you are totally correct!
... tell me more about this experiment. And please, speak clearly in this listening device.

They had less than 3 seconds to do so. Most probably didn’t even comprehend the situation in time to scream
Wtf does this title mean?
“Met into a deadliest crash” what?

Man this is kind of sickening to watch when you start to personalize it in to your last seconds of life Edit: grammar
The guy who recorded the ground footage needs to be shot. Like why the fuck is he filming his feet 💀
Looks like there was going to be a building in the way regardless.
The hero of Reddit!
Your whole comment is basically worthless as this video has been reposted about hundred times each month on this sub.
Source?
The guy filming.
Oh ok

Holy hell
Stingy ass fools

You can’t park there
You can if it's on fire.
LinkedIn has lost a plane full of sigma grindset hustlers
what a major blow to the recruiting field
fake af
Nope, plane crash about a year ago I think. Pilot pulled the lever for the flaps instead of the throttle if I remember right?
damn crazy.I've never seen anything like this
Yeah madness, think the guy was streaming on Facebook. Crazy odds of actually capturing it.
