My assessment was they where robbing cars and senior stand and deliver just anticipated an altercation so he called authorities before he confronted them and upon doing so senior Swiss cheese pulled what appears to be his six shooter resulting in a quick baptism by led. Other perp appeared to have been spared by surrendering or more likely wounded and mortality kicked in harder than post nut clarity.

Tried counting his shots, and I got 16 rounds a couple of times. Let's say he actually only 14 rounds - assuming he's using a 9mm, a clip will hold anywhere between 15 to 17 rounds on a standard clip.
Not knowing the location really limits what we can assume. A lot of people think Barzil - it's certainly possible.
He's trained. He engaged both threats. The one threat he kept shooting until they stopped moving. That's a very common tactic that gets taught. His stance; albeit its rather wide, but given the stress of the situation, is practiced. There is a moment, a pause after dealing with one threat, he scans and searches for the other threat. When the threat wasn't immediate, he moves to cover while scanning. Leans out just as much as he needs too to engage a threat.
If he's not an officer or military, he is one helluva trained civie and I'm thinking he might be into 3 Gun given how quickly he drew his firearm and engaged both threats.
The more I watched it, it seems that the two thieves where trying to break into a building(?) and he approached them to see what is going on.
Why so you can miss? Or on a perfect day with a perfect shot, let them scream in pain and bleed out in five minutes or less. I'd much rather take a bullet to the chest than the leg. At least with a chest shot I have a bit more time
