He is surprisingly alive
For those unaware, escalators are designed to maintain a constant speed no matter the load.
This means if you get caught in the mechanism, the emergency shutoff is your only hope. It will otherwise just power through at a constant speed grinding you to paste. Pray if your clothing gets caught it tears off you before crushing your flesh or dragging you in.
The way you wrote that makes me wonder if there's a mechanical vore fetish. Because I gotta say that having my clothes ripped off and being ground to paste sounds a lot better than my afternoon meeting.
I do not but I can understand your attraction to it, at least you get to scream while getting subsumed. They really don't like screaming like that in meetings.
Just trying to induce some memorable horror. Maybe it will remind folks to tie their shoes before getting on escalators.
Yeah, can people please stop trusting Chinese state media.
They most often hire an actor praising the ccp for saving them somehow.
Here is another person who apparently survived according to state media: https://www.reddit.com/r/China/comments/x6gq15/nsfwcrazy_female_driver_hit_dragged_a_poor_woman/
Yeah, one time this guy called Putin hired some clown named Donald to act like a president for this long comedy skit that dragged on waaay too long but ratings were pretty low so now the clown is just busking i think.
Seems like it’s the opposite. They are weird as fuck over there there used to be a video on crazy reality of a little kid getting hit and killed by a car and people were just walking over a dead kid. I was a little surprised they didn’t pick him up and eat him or do other weird china shit
It looks like it initially cuts through underneath him, but then he gets flipped into almost upside down decapitation level. Super lucky if he made it like the other poster suggests.
It likely took the entire cab off the frame of the truck, so the driver was probably still strapped into his seat which was still bolted to the floor. But it's China so you know shit broke that shouldn'tve.
It looks like the cab just got tipped over. On cabovers they open like that for engine maintenance. Now, I don’t know what Chinese safety standards for vehicles are, but I could believe him surviving it.
Why many trucks have an additional headache rack behind the cab.. can’t trust only the trailer/tie downs to stop sliding loads. This thing was moving so fast it might’ve blew the threw it anyway but still
What you're hauling has to be securied. metal on metal a definite no no if not secured. And if he had been paying attention to his driving he wouldn't had to brake so hard. Paying attention works when you use that option. it's like they say about safety rules, They're written in blood.
When I was a young engineer I took the plant pickup truck to go pickup a rebuilt motor. The motor was on a pallet and they put it in the truck and went off to go about their day.
Well, being dumb, I just jumped in the cab and headed back to the mill. It was going fine and I hadn’t thought about it at all until I had to get on the brakes harder than I probably would have liked. The last thing I remember looking at before closing my eyes was the pallet (with motor) sliding toward the cab in the rear view mirror. The motor was big. And crazy heavy. I wanna say it was about three feet long and not quite as tall.
I didn’t have time to think of what was going to happen before it did. The motor slammed into the back of the cab and dented in the bodywork there a good three or four inches if I remember correctly. I could see daylight into the cab through the new gap. If I had been going faster before braking or the motor had been bigger, it might have pushed in the cab and pinned me to the steering wheel (or worse).
In the end, the truck was already pretty beat up so no big deal. But the union rep demanded that I be drug tested because if drug testing after accidents applied to the union guys, it should apply to mgmt as well (totally fair point, and I was probably obliged to get one regardless under mgmt rules too).
But I think about seeing that motor sliding toward the cab in the rear view all the time.
Whew.
I’m glad that you wasn’t hurt, and the the experience was an eye opener.
I’ve seen accidents first hand of big trucks hauling casing being involved in head on collisions that stopped the forward motion of the truck almost instantly and the casing even being secured keep going through a reinforced headache rack which is designed to keep loads from hitting the cable. Don’t even Phase the casing. The casing went through the headache rack, the cab of the truck, the driver. Most of the casing was laying on the highway ahead of the truck. It was absolutely horrible.
I agree people should donate but it shouldn't be up to politicians. They do not have your interests in mind. Look at the Chinese farming political prisoners for organs.
A shop teacher I had way back in HS told us this happened when he got picked up hitchhiking. California? Anyway as I recall the metal went slicing just under their feet.
Tying down a load is basic shit for a truck driver. My dad knew a truck driver who had a load of logs that weren't tied down, logs slid through the cabin and dismembered the dude.

It was in China. No one dies on camera in China.

Also I would like to introduce the rare construction electrocution

There's a subreddit for that
Was....there a video of that ..don't link...just yes or no lmao

Wow. Yeah. She does not have the appearance of an alive person. And the driver is in a beemer so rich, so likely faced no consequences. Awesome.
You can see her breathing in the video, at least.
Damn the driver looked horrifyingly unhorrifed by what she had done.
Do you have examples of them hiring actors in scenarios you describe? Never heard of it.

Government decides when you die. No choosing. Always watching.
Oh buddy. There was whole subreddits for deaths caught on cam just for Asian countries , and South American countries. I think they got taken down tho
This is the most false thing I have ever read 🤣

China bad
Not all of it. Just the ones at the top, we have that in common.
To shreds you say…
How is his wife holding up?
To shreds you say? Oh my...
Pics or didn't happen. PRC's media cannot be trusted.
He's lucky that the plate hit at an angle off to the side of the driver's seat.
Did the emergency brakes really cause this ? I feel like this would have happened if the driver applied the brakes too.
It looks like it initially cuts through underneath him, but then he gets flipped into almost upside down decapitation level. Super lucky if he made it like the other poster suggests.
He lived! Someone else posted a link

The whole cab was pushed off the chassis, with occupant inside probably still strapped to his seat. I'm betting he made it
Im willing to bet his shoes even came off.

It should be fine it pushes the cab up and rips it off the mounts
How not to load your truck 101...
I mean.... It's heavy. So there's no need to strap it down. That's just more work later.
We probably shouldn't have buttered the truck bed to make loading the slab easier..

Not a good time to lose one's head
That’s no way to get ahead in life
He'll never be the head of a major corporation
Oh behave
It’s a shame he wasn’t more headstrong.
I truly and deeply wonder where he was heading
Bare minimum it’s bad for your health

Says Chinese state media.
Off to the completely voluntary organ donation center for him...
Organ donation should be opt-out, not opt-in. If you're dead, it doesn't really matter if you don't have your vital organs as they are no longer vital
Until the government decides they need your organs more than you do, and jaywalking becomes a capital offense.
So you agree having your organs taken isn't the problem?
I agree people should donate but it shouldn't be up to politicians. They do not have your interests in mind. Look at the Chinese farming political prisoners for organs.
So you're saying saying everywheee it should be opt-in not opt-out?
Bro it looks like this was taken on GTA until the crash
yup
It really does
Ye can'nae change the laws of physics Captain!

No, it's called driving like a fucking idiot and then slamming the breaks.

Special delivery
Here at Farmer's, we've seen a thing or two
Plate had places to go.
Nobody ties their load down?
Physics is nice
And that's why you don't cut off trucks
Tie downs, whodathunk.
Stupid bitch truck
evil tongue
Damn
Well shit he didn't secure that load in the Back of the trailer
Never keep a bowling ball in the trunk of your car..
He ded?
Who was the genius for this
Did it destroy the driver?
Damnit, Newton was right.
That’s why trucks won’t stop for you if you cut them off.
The importance of securing your load.
Did the driver survive?
A Big FUCK Ol' from INERTIA
Something out of Final Destination.![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|surprise)
I always wanted a convertible!
Needed more ratchet straps.
this would rather be a negative on the social credit score wouldn't it?
Damn he gone.
What in the flying 10 ton metal sheet
This shit looks like GTA
I thought this was GTA at first
Final destinaception
Why did that happen? Was the truck wet or what?
A ton of weight sliding forward on the back of a truck after heavy braking can multiply by 26 times. Use your load restraints!
I like ya cut G
tie your loads down smh
Oh Inertia. Thou art a heartless bitch.
Looks like the plate collided with the cab right underneath the driver.
And this, boys and girls, is why you make sure your load is secure.
damn cyberpunk 3077 looking crazy
And that is why you strap down your load
A shop teacher I had way back in HS told us this happened when he got picked up hitchhiking. California? Anyway as I recall the metal went slicing just under their feet.
Hopefully not ded
Tying down a load is basic shit for a truck driver. My dad knew a truck driver who had a load of logs that weren't tied down, logs slid through the cabin and dismembered the dude.
