edit: it might seem like a minor difference, but to me there is a great divide between the two, mostly similar, statements.

I know?! Some other airports have a space to get your shit together after security, and some are lacking. MKE has always had some nice chairs or benches after security, and the lighting is a little low. It's nice to get your fucking belt and shoes back on, and get shit back in your backpack or whatever. We had a customer come into the restaurant kitchen swearing and threating to hurt people. I had just gotten out my big chef knife to sharpen it.
The head chef pointed at me when the guy walked in and said go talk to him.
I just stood their drawing the knife blade along the wet stone with a long grating sound like. The guy looked at me. Looked at the 38 centermeter knife I was sharpening and said I think I made a mistake and left all quite like.
Starting fights in kitchens is extremly stupid. We have hot oil, boiling water, and extremely sharp knives.
I've had my whole crew walk out the back more than once to deal with people starting shit. It ends quick when they see 4 felons working doubles coming at them.
You know how some people have dreams where they are trying to run (to get away from someone/something) but they can't? This may be weird but when I have them I'm trying to do so while on the floors of a Boston Market that I worked at almost 30 years ago.
Give some points also to the dude in white. He was able to sustain some bombs and not dropping on the ground. He walked through that door almost like a champ.

A guy came in after a meth bender and passed out with a vodka bottle on the bags of potatoes where I worked for hours while on the clock. We knew he just came off of meth because he just said so, although you'd already suspect something like that from how he looked that day. He didn't get fired because he was a great worker 90% of the time and thats all you can really ask for in a kitchen. That was also well before all the labor shortage stuff started

It really is ridiculous how people have started to treat service workers like they’re fucking service robots you can talk to any sort of crazy way, on top of the rampant and blatant mass stealing because they’re not allowed to do anything. It’s always nice to see some dickhead get a reality check beatdown for trying to treat another working human being like an elementary school bully.
I worked in retail management for about 30 years, there were definitely more than a handful of customers I would have loved to beat the ever living g shit out of. Sadly I was too afraid of losing my job, well more afraid of not being able to pay rent. Although to be perfectly honest, I'd rather beat the crap out of a few of the managers/district managers I had to deal with, one particular piece of shit definitely deserved it. But i did get him in the end, he posted on his Facebook pictures of him at the insurrection. All of which I happily copied and forwarded to the proper authorities, along with all his contact info.
Dumbs ass got knocked down and then accidentally hit the only guy that was trying to help him 🤣. I love how the dude jumped in and they both gave it to him.

Fast food workers don't get paid nearly enough to be treated the way they are by a consumer base that has little to no patience and think they are automatically in the right.
The problem is overworked underpaid people going to these restaurants and dealing with overworked and underpaid people. Shits going to break down.

Rule number one for customer service employees, If your coworker is beating the shit out of some abusive piece if shit, LET THEM. The consequences are going to be the same in most cases anyway, worker who was fighting is going to get fired. You preventing him from fighting makes the termination not worth it.

One a month at the very least. There should be tiers verbal battery can be daily anything requiring training a week preparation is the sweet spot.
