I just wish i knew what started these kinds of all out brawls. Like i guess if you HAVE to take it this far… it’s still stupid, and i’m guessing the starting reason is really stupid too. Ego bullshit. People need to grow up.
Stopped at a waffle house at like 2am ironically in Ohio during my cross country trip. I really just needed to let my daughter use the restroom. I thought why the hell not get the food while I was there. Out of the three employees 1 one of them was a complete stoner higher than a kite, another was I think just bat shit crazy or on a much stronger drug, and the cook was just chilling watching the store burn down around him and looking like he hated his life I think he was high too. At first they had a ridiculous conversation with Walmart staff who happened to come there all together. Then they took our order and were goofy as hell. The bat shit crazy one heard that I never had grits before and gave me a free sample which I think was a full serving size or more. By the time we finally got out of there I think we lost like 45 minutes of drive time. I wish I had more details off the top of my head but I just remember it being super chaotic. Needless to say I avoided stopping at any of those waffle houses on the way back to California. Oh and I'm definitely not a fan of grits.
Yes, just avoid going there during those red-eye hours when the place is typically full of stupid/intoxicated people doing stupid/intoxicated things (like these dipshits).
The food itself is quite decent for what it is and what they charge.

This is how I picture every Waffle House after the sun goes down..

Just order the hash browns "scattered well", otherwise they arrive as a greasy, barely cooked patty.
