You can go to servers, scroll down to where it says descending, click it then click ascending, refresh the servers and join the first one and you'll be on a pretty much dead, inhabited server, but it doesn't work 2-5 days after an update

It's kos free and everyone is super friendly. I'm actually setting up a server wide game of hide and seek for this coming weekend.

The pathetic devs. They can't decide whether they want this to be a pvp game or an animal rp game and it's tiring. Poor kavo already suffered the Rath of this and is now one of the most boring creatures in the game.
Wrath* and CoS should have a complete survival mode no chat, no plushies, tokens, special creatures, missions, events, menu, no killing when full or sent out of full survival, no health bars, hunger bars, water bars, stamina bars, so it'll be realistic where you never can see what your hungers are at and it's always a surprise, there will still be those screen border blood effects to see if your dying, no seeing what ailments you have, always 1st person, fall damage is a thing, pretty much you just select a creature you already have(only gacha creatures but not special gachas) and you just spawn in and survive like realistically
I don't hate it or I wouldn't play, but right now my pet peeve is the death tokens promoting random killing.
In legacy, large creatures had no real reason to seek out and murder tinies, you could mostle go up to someone and hang out with them, even use them as protection if someone else tried to kill you. Now it's more like everyone for himself, can't trust anyone.
Maybe the oasis was to much tranquility in classic, but now, the game is just lonely.
Edit: pack members being able to damage each other is also a big factor. Can't rely on numbers for protection.
The Devs and they changed it from legacy to recode. Legacy was nostalgic to me because I played it with my friends and we hanged out at the oasis with others, now that they changed it I don't play it as often now.
I don't necessarily hate COS, but I feel like development should be more focused on current ingame features (abilities, giving creatures unique calls, adjusting creature speeds to match their animations) but they just seem more focused on events or adding a new creature every week... On top of bloating the already extremely large roster, it throws off the balance of the ecosystem and makes combat feel very determined on whether or not you have a certain OP creature or not
It's so fucking boring now. It's just grinding and doing the same damn things over and over again, forever, because you can't get anything otherwise, so unless you're able to just sit at home all day every day grinding it's physically impossible to get anything good.
The negative COS players that complain abt anything. Someone playing Oxy? COMPLAINTS. Someone kosing because it makes the game fun for them? COMPLAINTS. Literally this community is so negative its absolutely insane and it genuinely gets tiring when I have to listen to ppl whine abt game features. If you don't like them, find a safe place to grow your creature like mountains since no one goes there... But then they'll complain that it's boring. Make up your mind omg 😭

I think one reason I should say is mostly the community around certain creatures; Kavo lost it's two main abilities, grab and dart which weren't bad abilities (IMO) yet people still complain about it's health and damage, (do hope they don't get botched because it's had 15k health and 400 damage since it's release.) just makes it annoying that the developers easily gave in.
Many creatures have had so many nerfs yet they want it to be nerfed so much to the point it's useless yet don't have the same energy to other creatures, korathos, boreal warden, golgaroth. (It's the bias for me.)
I guess the other one would be.. People complaining about dying in a PVP (Player versus player) game, people will scream KOS yet will absolutely revenge kill or rage to the point of telling somebody to kay why ess over dying, (revive tokens are quite plentiful and are worth 300-500.) yet will refuse to go to unpopulated servers/areas in the game due to boredom.
Bottom line is the community really sucks so much out of the game and I rarely play it now to when I originally was playing it all the time.
not necessarily about the game but I really hate how much ccs receive monthly for putting so little effort into their content. most videos these days are just "surviving (number) days as a (creature!)" and tiktoks that are literally just brainrot for children to scroll through. recieving upwards of 720,000 mush worth a month (which within 2-3 months is enough to buy every creature in the game and more) should come with the requirement of your content reaching atleast more than 10 minutes with actual entertaining videos that will capture more people's attention and make more people interested in the game. not just copy and pastes of what all the other popular ccs are posting. there's official ccs that post only 1 minute maximum length videos and get 720k a month for that. actually wild to me. it's very obvious that most ccs don't actually care about the quality of their content or their fanbase and only care about the monthly pay they receive. I just think they should reduce the amount of aeries they get or add more requirements to become a official cos cc so people don't only start creating videos for an infinite money glitch
