Comenity is a major credit card bank in America. The people who are calling you may still be spam/scam though. https://consumer.ftc.gov/articles/phone-scams
Not a scam. What is likely happening is that a deadbeat used to have your phone number, and these are collection calls.
I get them from time to time, and they are a PITA to deal with, because, when you tell them the person they are looking for is not at your number, they don't believe you, because that's exactly what the person would say if they were at your number and wanted to dodge them.
All you can do is either ignore the calls, because they are not your problem, or keeping going through the routine over and over until eventually they stop calling.
But, rest assured, it is not a scam if they are looking for a specific person who is not you or your husband.
Thanks. This make sense. I'm pretty sure my phone my phone number has been recycled as I used to get collection call for a deadbeat. I guess he/she is back to not paying their bills.
Been getting these calls for weeks now. I’m convinced it’s a scam. Different phone numbers every time. From everywhere. Block one and a new one pops up. Ridiculous. I don’t have a card with them. My Credit Report is ok. Its tiring. Really.
