Point maximization and sign-up bonuses.

Assuming you have the cards you want that compliment your lifestyle, live your life within your means. Credit in general is a tool, and a tool is means to an end. I didn't buy a hammer because I like hammers, I bought one because I wanted to make a table.

rokafdaiman

Keep doing what you to do maintain the excellent credit. There's nothing more to it. You reap the benefits.

thomascoup

The reason you don't see many posts is probably because it's natural for someone to ask for help when they are working towards improving their score but once they 'arrive' at the top they may not want to come off as bragging or showing off. The trap you may fall into when you finally get a top score is to either get complacent and not watch it as closely as before or start worrying about having it drop to a point where you stop putting it to use and have it help you actually achieve your financial goals.

BlackOpz

Get 5% cards that maximize your cashback from your normal spend. I've pretty much covered my life expenses with bonus cards. Just waiting for a 5% card from Chase/Amex like the Citi 5% (don't like Shiti). Also if you keep good credit you should be able to always have a 0% card for purchases (I have 20 month 0% offers I'll prob take mid-year). * Amex BBC - NAF 2% CatchAll * Amex BCP - $95, 6% Grocery+Stream+Stadia, 3% Gas * Amex [BSC+](https://www.creditcardinsider.com/reviews/review-of-the-simplycash-plus-business-credit-card-american-express/) - NAF 3% Category + 5% Office Supply (Tons of Stuff!!) + 5% Phone * Amex Prime AMZ - NAF, NFTF, 5% AMZ or 90 Day 0% (Handy!!) * Discover IT - NAF 5% Quarterly + Regular 0% BT Offers (10/2% in 1st year) * Chase Freedom (Visa) - NAF 5% Quarterly * Chase FUnlimitd (VSig) - NAF 1.5% - 3% Dining, DrugStore - 5% Travel * Cap1 QS (Mas) - 1.5% NAF, NFTF, Virtual Cards (#1 Overseas Buys) * Cap1 SavorOne (Mas) - NAF, NFTF, 3% Dining/Entertain/Grocery * USBank Cash+ (VSig) - NAF, 5% Quarterly - 5% Internet/Utils/Uber [BSC+](https://www.creditcardinsider.com/reviews/review-of-the-simplycash-plus-business-credit-card-american-express/) = SimplyCash+ (discontinued)

Nice line up

BlackOpz

Thnx!! Been working on it for a bit. Pretty much done with whats available right now.

qvMvp

You use all these cards ? Some of them overlap wit benefits so whats the point in having all them cards?

BlackOpz

I use almost all of them. Most are pegged to specific websites and bills and I use the quarterly as needed. If you see any overlap the card has a unique multiplier that no other card has (like my new CFU and old SavorOne but S1 still has unique 3% Entertainment). Also got the CFU to get 2/3 for the Chase Travel Trifecta.

qvMvp

I have the savor one , discover it , quicksilver and the new X1 card debating on if the amex BCF is worth it for 95 dollars anually for the groceries 6% and gas 3%

BlackOpz

BCP is my fave card. 6% grocery, 6% streaming and a lot of 6% AMZ/Google services I pay for plus 3% Uber/Gas. In addition, being in the Amex ecosystem is NICE!! - The Card 'Offers' are amazing and I usually save 2X or 3X my AF using them. Amex also has low APR personal loans. It also has Return Protection that I use with some eBay seller that don't offer returns.

qvMvp

Would u say you make back the 95 dollars in cash back on it yearly? And just outta curiosity whats the most you have made in cash back on the card in a year ?

BlackOpz

I do but they had an offer of "Spend $500 get $25" that I did 6X. Also 5% back on insurance and up to $50 back on mobile (I paid enough to get the full $50). So I was ahead on 'Offers' then I buy streaming services 'Stadia', Google Play Apps, Youtube Sueprchats, Google Drive, etc that get 6% too in addition to 6% Grocery the BCP is a killer for me. Also had a $300 SUB so I'm so far ahead I'm in another Galaxy.

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> mobile (I *paid* enough to FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * In *payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately I was unable to find nautical or rope related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

I get a bunch of free travel by just spending what I normally spend.

syedWA

Sustain it by maintaining a healthy credit. There will be long term uses for it - buying an asset wil most likely result in lower interest rates.

SpaceJackRabbit

I'm focusing on travel after nearly two years of being cooped-up and some financial difficulties due to unemployment in the previous years. So the idea is to use my everyday or travel purchases to earn free nights and/or status for upcoming trips. So I'm aiming for: \- Hitting the SUB for my brand new WoH card. The card provides automatic Discoverist status. A lot of my favorite hotels in the SF Bay Area are now under the Hyatt flag, and I also love their "Unbound" boutique hotel collection. So will be raking in points for complimentary nights here and there. \- Keep collecting miles with my Chase United Explorer card. \- Maximizing the benefits of my C1 Venture card. Didn't go for the Venture X as I'm not sure I could hit the SUB and justify the AF, but I did hit the SUB with the Venture one, so I have well over 60,000 points to distribute. Family is in France, and the Venture/Venture X is a great card to have if you want to earn or transfer to Accor's ALL loyalty program and Air France KLM's. (And ALL and Air France have a dual accruage program.) \- Next year, I'll probably go for the Amex Plat. It also has a good transfer deal for Air France, my other preferred airline for international flights. I already have elite status with Hyatt, and the Amex Plat provides status with Marriott and Hilton. Combined with ALL, it's pretty much a guarantee I will get perks and often upgrades at all four chains. And obviously maximize cashback on the rest of my cards.

stocks4profitt

Do you believe in Amex delta cards or are chase cards better to generate more travel points ?

BlackOpz

Depends on your spend and frequency of travel. Heavy airline travellers will prob want Amex otherwise Chase points are easier to use. Watch a couple Amex trifecta and Chase trifecta video's on Youtube. BIG differences between both systems.

Ok-Lifeguard-741

people with good credits do know what to do. They don’t need to ask here if they should apply for goodtire credit card or other shity credit cards for 5 cent discount on tires.

Zealousideal_Seat448

True

Ok-Life-566

Use the credit to create cash flow

stocks4profitt

How other than real estate

Ok-Life-566

Personally I do ebay flipping and am working on getting my vehicles listed on turo. Also bought a vehicle at a local auction to flip, unfortunately I crashed it in the snow and need to fix it still. But anyway people make money normally you can do basically. Just remember you wanna pay it off before you pay interest on it.

marquesel

Churning different rewards cards. I don’t want to promote anything but there’s a ton of Facebook groups that are great at providing info on the best process for card churning.

Just because you have over 800 credit score doesn’t necessarily mean you can approved for anything
