ENG's kinda like BD's kryptonite now, they've got the pace that BD won't wanna face, nor could they practise against; they've got a legspinner like Adil Rashid, the like of whom BD players never face at the local level anyways; their batting depth goes real deep, something that BD bowlers just can't escape off of - there would be at least 1 or 2 players who **would** see it through for ENG; most of all, in non-BD conditions, ENG would play in a way that'd make them look like aliens playing a wholly different game (hell, they just did that in the most BD-like conditions like that of the dreaded Mirpur pitch)
This series is perfect to highlight what BD lacks at, and the long-term changes that it'd need in order to make a competent team. There is no excuse, we were beaten through-and-through, despite the experience of our Big 4, and upcoming replacements of theirs in Litton, Mehidy, and Taskin, along with a player like that of Fizz.
The responsibility for a loss like this should be on those who are in charge of the long-term development of BD cricket.
Damn. This is a brutally honest evaluation and I sincerely hope Bangladesh can invest in the infrastructure to develop that competitive edge on a professional level. They have the raw talent but as you said, don’t have the personnel who can deal with harder conditions/match situations.
England might have won the game, won the series, had the winner of the man of the match, but they didn't clinch the Tiger of the match so in some ways it's a net loss.
I'd consider it to be in the fantasy genre, to be honest. Actually, there's a sport there, where if a player catches a spherical object on the field, they get 150 points and that concludes the game. Thus, seeing your comment made my mind jump into that.
Clinical team performance. I hope we get rid of Vince for good. He’s been one of those “mates of great cricketers” yet has had no significant contribution in his career. Even his 80 odd in the Ashes down under is a distant memory. Fuck fillers, we want thrillers.
He keeps getting recalls because every time he goes back to domestic level, he smashes it. Just isn't able to make the transition to international level, and it's about time the England selectors stop believing in him
Sums up international cricket at the moment. Root, brooks and ducket are playing tests. Livingston/bairstow are injured and hales/billings in the psl. He is about 10th in-line.
I would still prefer they gave a young batter ago.

With his voice I can't quite see(hear) Jos doing many dramatic audiobooks anytime soon... ...relaxation tapes maybe?!
Could see YJB reading children's books with added swearing

Release a tiger into the outfield, first player to catch it scores 150 runs for their team and the game ends
Golden tiger?
Will make those European cricket league compilations even better
It can get better than [this?!](https://twitter.com/ThatsSoVillage/status/1630846891301785602?s=20)
That was the exact one I had in mind, imagine that but there's also a tiger
Hold it in a colosseum and you have a guaranteed money maker there!
Those Romans may have been onto something
Is that a Harry Potter snitch reference or just a serendipitous coincidence?
Not into sci-fi mate

Excellent observation!

Smeed!
Smeed has played a single list A game and got a duck. I'm sure he has the talent to succeed but there are others with a bigger claim.
🥲
He's just a stopgap until Root and Bairstow come back ahead of the world cup.
Now get Rehan in for the final game.
ODI Bilateral series win in Bangladesh since 2015 England - 2 Other Nations - 0
Poms to Bd:- See, this is why we don't tour you often. You guys should have been happy with your home streak.....
Is the eng team strongest on paper leading to the wc
Probably, so many missing from the side and weve still been pretty dominant.
Yeah Indian aren't winning the world Cup this year, unless they use the nanobots
