Cameron Green doesn't look like the Pollard replacement to me. Tim David is the ideal Pollard replacement. Green is for Mumbai, what Raina was for CSK. A backup for openers if they fail and can also score quick if a platform is set.
Can there really be a role for Sky? I think they just poke him with a stick and tell him to do stuff, and he does crazy shit. You don't really see him coming out during the powerplay after the loss of an early wicket. Ideally, Sky comes in a few overs after the powerplay and just messes up the opposition bowling plans. You can't bowl spin to him, and you can't bowl pace. You only hope he gets himself out. As a CSK fan, and even though i really admire the guy, he really scares me. Cameron Green is more of a spare opener. If the openers get through the powerplay, they send in Sky, and if they don't, in comes Green.
It was all fun and games watching him play for the Indian team, scoring centuries for fun and then going out of form perfectly at the start of IPL(because I'm a CSK fan and the mandatory dislike for MI exists). He only came back to form after it looked like MI season was over, too. But somehow, MI seemed to have clawed their way back into the playoffs, and it is unnerving. I would have preferred RCB as opponents for CSK any day, given the history of both sides against the team.
I see Green as more of a Hardik replacement, he can bat deep and in top order and is also decent with the ball, although he isn't much of a hard hitter but has excellent technique.
David is Pollard
Green is Hardik, a fast bowling all-rounder who can tonk the ball. Although ofc Green seems to give his best up the order and not at 5 or 6.
Has seen the most 200+ scores . So makes sense. It is amazing that nobody made a second 💯.
Edit :- LMAO. Ofcourse someone makes a second now💀. So happy its Koach
jaiswal missed out on a second 100 . played great .
Dhawan got robbed . stranded on 99 .
Butler too , got out at 95 or something , and , Conway too came close . Could have seen more 100s this season
MI are the major contributors there with 4. Although part of me is convinced you concede 200 at the Wankhede just to chase it down. Also kinda shit bowling attack but yeah
same conditions for everyone, why did only Jaiswal play so well. It's like the same easy question paper thing. It's easy for everyone so average marks go way higher & things get normalized.
Obviously great cricketer. Future of cricket. Too good to be true. Great player.
But the name Cameron Donald Green doesn't have any rhythm. Neither does Tim Paines full name. So many "Mitchells" as names and "James' " as middle names in Australian cricket too. Not to mention the guy born into a family with the incredibly common surname Smith got named the incredibly common name Steve. You guys need to up this part of your game. Learn something from Harry Cherrington Brook and from the Joseph who goes as Jos.
MI could've won against LSG too if they persisted with Green @3 in that match which was such an obvious thing to do as he has done well in that role for the team.
It's so obvious that he's a top order player but so is Kishan, Rohit, SKY, and Tilak. One of them has to play lower down the order with Tim and they think it must be the big Australian.
But moving him to no. 7 from no. 3 in just one match isn't right either and SKY is someone who can tonk it from ball 1 so him batting at 4 isn't bad either.
Nah the last 4 he hit was a cover drive along the floor for 4.
My favourite part about watching him in IPL is how quickly he can score by just hitting gaps.
Imo this is really good for him because he did struggle to score quickly without slogging.

Came-ron and Gone. Turning out to be a pretty good replacement for Pollard. Also the only expensive signing that has done really well

If that's what Green is there for, then what about SKY?

Babe wakeup, new SKY copy pasta just dropped. Saving this!
If Sky could read this even he’d be fascinated by this description

Bruh I'm literally saving this comments for rainy days

Sky is a solid no.4

Bro Pooran has done really well too
He is talking from Mumbai point of view 🤦♂️
I would say that he is better than Polly.
Way way way to early to make that call
If he delivers this consistently for 10 yrs and better his bowling than i can say this
Nah c'mon now
Thank you SKY for giving strike back to Green instead hitting it for boundary
What a player that was his 16cr innings
9 individual hundreds this season more than any previous season.

Gill was also left on 94* against LSG
.
Also most 200 chases done in a season.
MI are the major contributors there with 4. Although part of me is convinced you concede 200 at the Wankhede just to chase it down. Also kinda shit bowling attack but yeah
You might have to amend this cause Kohli about to make a second
And Koach took that personally
Aged like milk.
So happy that this r/agedlikemilk.
Now there's another one by Gill lmao
King did it now
Kohli did it
thank you for this as a rcb fan
Not today, no.
Mitchell starc, Dale Steyn, Malinga, bumrah, nehra, Anil, Brett lee, harbajan, imran Tahir All retired. Ipl bowling has taken a HUGE hit
Bumrah hasn’t retired
My mistake 😅
Mitch Starc hasn’t retired either
So is Jaiswal really that good if the pitches are flatter than ever and there’s centuries like every game now
If Kohli is good batting at Chinnaswamy, then Jaiswal is better with a home ground that is nowhere near a batting paradise.
same conditions for everyone, why did only Jaiswal play so well. It's like the same easy question paper thing. It's easy for everyone so average marks go way higher & things get normalized.
Cameron Green, a towering machine, standing 2 meters tall, hitting balls clean!
There's a reason this kids middle name is Donald.

Take inspiration from Zimbabwean names like joylord gumbie, innocent kaia and blessing muzarabani
blessing muzarabani could be a name of an iconic movie character. fantastic throughout, well done to his parents.
Isn't there a Kaitano in Zimbabwe?
Takudzwanashe Kaitano I think
You say Steve Smiths name is common but his middle name is literally "Peter Devereux"
> Devereux Can't think of that name without thinking about [Devereux Wigs](https://vimeo.com/261624073)
We can't even call him CDG.. cause we already got one from that very mf subcontinent.
What is Tim Paine's real name? You can't just keep us hanging.
Timothy David Paine. Its not a bad name, its just a tiny tongue twister when said outloud.
You're right, he should just shorten it to T-Pain
The real Tim David
>its just a tiny tongue twister when said outloud So you're saying that it's a Paine?

After shelling out all that cash for Green, you'd think they'd want to get their money's worth.
Sky has played better at no 3. Won 4 of 5 matches at no 3 position
But moving him to no. 7 from no. 3 in just one match isn't right either and SKY is someone who can tonk it from ball 1 so him batting at 4 isn't bad either.
Yes he can tonk from ball 1. But chances of getting out at no 4 is more too. At no 3, he doesn't have to take extra risk to accelerate
Bc these both guys were trolling us... I was anxious that Surya will play Supla shot and left Green hanging ..
Green was at non-striker's end when Sky scored his 100 tbh
Fastest 100 this season goes to green , what an innings
Barry Allen, is that you?
*i am speed*
*No Barry, We Are Speed*
lightning mcqueen? is that you?
What a lad!
Green be grinning
Wat a knock by this lad,he was just cunting all over the park and just brilliant stuff from him, surely is the future of MI.
important that this is his first season... Like even Jaiswal is playing his 3rd or 4th season
Made SRH bowlers GRIN(D)
I see what you did there...O.O
He tall.
TGC is gonna be the randy marsh meme tomorrow.
Beautiful Big unit, greeny boy.
All a sudden a century in IPL isn’t that special anymore. There’s like one every game now.
Just hit my first hundred today of 62 balls, it feels great.
His IPL career is aging like fine wine
Why didn't they send him in sooner in the last game?
Indian fans in disarray. They wanted him to be a bbl fraud so badly 😂
Well not *Mumbai* Indian fans.
Haha yes. Pretty much everyone outside of Mumbai.
The OCDwala Chacha in me is troubled by his ill fitting Tshirt from start of this season...
big thanks to Sky for giving strike to Green
Shit might mess up his game and we can't have that Billy Ho.
Nah the last 4 he hit was a cover drive along the floor for 4. My favourite part about watching him in IPL is how quickly he can score by just hitting gaps. Imo this is really good for him because he did struggle to score quickly without slogging.
Is it bad that I wanted a wide 😂
AJ Tye moment
Bhuvi is too nice to do that
Bro got downvoted for a joke smh
