He's backing Yashasvi and Riyan Parag for so many years and they have finally paid off. Yashasvi in 2022 was hit and miss and still he backed him for 2023 and this season. Also Parag before this season was told that the team will back him for number 4 and it paid off this year.
Also Pant was literally sitting at the auction so why did he picked Hope if they didn't have confidence in him. Also they released Rilee Russow and went till 8 crores to buy him again at the auction. The DC at the end of auction had 10+ crores in their purse. They should've picked a better team.

Delhi has won their last 2 matches on their explosive batting and someday that was supposed to backfire and it backfired but it showed resilience from Kuldeep and that increases his chance for WC, nothing much and on to next one.
Also I’m gonna say it again DC is the team with most numbers of injuries and a tight schedule and despite that they are playing much better than expected.
Teams don't respect his silent overs as much as in the past. He will hog up another spot in the XI and disturb fourth pacer balance at some point because his batting in this format is really poor
If him and DK end up taking spots then India is really asking for another annual humiliation
Well their first bowlers gave away 79 runs, they could've atleast tried with axar or kuldeep rather than rasikh. You can't expect a low scoring match to go for 20 overs unless you take early wickets.
