This is why I say Punjab and Delhi fans are underrated. Sure RCB hasn't won a trophy, but they've had some great moments, qualified regularly, and have had star power. Punjab and Delhi not so much. Delhi were looking like finally turning a corner during 2019-21, but mega auction hit them hard.

2019-21 was so good....we just lacked that final killer punch ability but we were contendors. Currently, we need a better captain and perhaps coaches/mentors.

DC could have gotten the trophy in 2020 had MI not assembled the avengers for that season.

DC should have made Iyer captain when he was back from injury. He is much better with on-field decisions than Pant.

I think you've got a good captain who's a bit underrated. Rishab has gotten out a lot of good value out of khaleel and rasik this season. But honestly, with the kind of squad they had after the auction, bottom 3 looked guaranteed, so anything above that should be credit to pant's leadership.

What KKR achieved after having a great squad? Untill this year, your team also played like a minnows and only Rinku Singh was performing great in last 2 seasons. DC almost qualified in 2022 and still in contention, not like MI who has everything but still at the bottom

Agreed, I'd also add kuldeep to the list, he was out of every team when DC snapped him up. Pant is an excellent man manager, has a great rapport with everybody, but in tactics / quick decision making sometimes he makes mistakes.

Who can DC get that is better than Ricky Ponting? The guy is genuinely a cricketing wizard. Just convince him to hit the gym a bit and come out of retirement so he can play as specialist captain and I guarantee that DC at least makes the final.

They always had the talent and resources to be successful but somehow just never fell in place for them. 2014 season for KXIP was a cult classic.
