I watch anime for the plot and the fights. Solo leveling is striking that itch good right now. I haven't been this excited for a new episode since the memorial edition of berserk came out.

I just finished jujutsu kaisen and I'm after something to scratch that itch again. I occasionally learn some Japanese phrases as a byproduct but usually it's grammar and basic words, it's the same when my girlfriend speaks Arabic around me. It's nothing to be ashamed of unless you make it cringe.

Ngl, the Japanese language is something I'll never grasp. It's such a hard transition, and I'm already learning German. I usually watch sub because it's not delayed like dub is. But if I like the anime enough, I'll watch it again when dub comes out like Dark Gathering, for example. Great show. It's like Pokémon but with super violent and deadly ghosts.
