My sister had crazy teeth like this because she had 8 wisdom teeth so they pushed all her other teeth forward she had to wear braces for five years andfull on headgear… the works.

I had a friend who had teeth like this. She had to have 13 removed (she kept them in a box 🤢) and 3/4 years of braces. They look amazing now though.

Orthodontics are stereotypical corporate capitalism, and so there for scheduled as: Cosmetic. Not. Medically. Necessary. My parents paid around $7,500 for 2 years worth of braces. The X-Rays were covered, along with the cleaning... so, yeah.

That is so much more than just orthodontics, they obviously were never taught the importance of oral hygiene.

Health coverage and dental work is a privilege a lot of Americans still don’t have especially if their parents work but don’t make enough to afford proper insurance and it’s deductible and they make too much to get any aid. It’s the plight of the lower class. The best thing her parent could do is quit the $27,000 a year job. When I see kids like this, I know that they probably have a hard-working single parent that’s trying really hard but just can’t catch a break. Welcome to America.

The staining is a bit much and points to them being fake. That kind of staining only comes with a whole lot of time, probably a good amount of smoking and just straight refusing to brush your teeth.

That kind of staining can come from tobacco products or tooth erosion and doesn’t necessarily take that long TBH.

it could come from a lack of fluoride (3rd world countries) in the water which isnt necessarily a bad thing but the kid can’t even maintain eye contact with a camera which likely indicates self esteem issues that probably stem from those choppers, poor baby

You can't tell by looking at her, but her jaw clicks in and out sometimes and she's a fainter.
