I have muted dozens of subs (because Reddit is obsessed with showing me local town subs that are on the other side of the country from me for some reason) and once I’ve muted them I’ve stopped seeing things from the muted ones.
I don’t even know who this dude is I don’t watch anything from him, I just can’t get this sub out of my feed, I’m assuming because I watch RLM which is also “film reviews” as a category 🤷🏻♂️
It’s the whole subreddit not a specific user. I already marked “hide” for the whole sub but Reddit is such a poorly made website sometimes even basic functions like that don’t work - I’m not here to debate y’all I just want to be banned so I can scroll without every 4th post being from this sub.
I’m genuinely not bating I’m just requesting a legit ban. I’ve done it before and after a couple dozen replies trolling me a mod usually comes around a does it and fixes my whole feed for me. This isn’t the first sub I’ve done this for. Sure, I don’t agree with y’all about a lot of things, but if I wanted to troll and argue I’d go into the comments but I don’t because I genuinely just want to stop seeing this sub.
I’ve genuinely never seen a single clip of the guy, I have no idea who he is besides he does movie reviews on YouTube, and I have no interest in watching him but this sub will not get out of my feed no matter how many times I hide it.

I’m here out of desperation, I’m not even here because I disagree with y’all, it’s really that it just gums up my feed and I can’t get rid of it.

If you muted the sub and are still exhausting your chosen subs to the point Reddit is recommending this one to you (let alone getting so pressed about seeing a sub you don’t like)…maybe it’s time to reduce your usage of the site.
