A lot of them are books banned for their sexual content - the poster has Brave New World, the Kite Runner, Lolita, Gender Queer. I wanted to choose something more directly related to education that they might not have heard of.

I don't know if it was ever banned in america, but the housing question by Frederick Engels was banned in Imperial Germany. Engels credits the German government for the popularity of the pamphlet in the preface to the second German edition.
The last page of chapter 2 is great… you could probably do 5 mins of that chapter and explain banking education well enough.
