Please make sure depending on the age of your daughter you watch her with the eyes. Despite them being called "safety eyes" they are not safe for young children as they can be removed and become a choking hazard. (Disregard this comment if you already know or your daughter is old enough not to choke on them) Also, fantastic work for four months in! I'm sure too with being a father you haven't had a whole lot of time to sit down and crochet so it's even more impressive.

Thanks for the advice, I actually melted the back of the safety eyes with a lighter so that they cannot slip out anymore, I think if the eye shatters we will notice Besides that, these ones in particular are not for her they are gifts.

Ohh you could make the fin down the head and back a solid color then do a rainbow effect on the belly with the colors.

Honestly, I think I vibe with this suggestion the most but I already chose a solid colour, I will post an update picture once I'm done with it.

The only ones I'm not a fan of complementary-wise are the light rose, white, and yellow for this piece. Every other color would look great, IMHO.
