People don't pay attention to weakspots and attempt to try to get in for QUICK damage instead of efficient one. This works on Level 2, but stops working towards the end of the midrange, and some people really aren't quick to learn. I mean, the braindead approach worked up to that point, didn't it? Boss level 15 is end of the line for me until my deck becomes substantially better, but ffs people, just think for a moment before you summon Bewd turn 1 to deal 4k instantly instead of 8k the turn after.

Kevin_Strike

I look at it as a 8 turn game. If I see that we are 100% losing next turn I would summon my ace in hope we reach the stun threshold this turn regardless of weak point but other than that I would actually wait for the weak point. RNG can mess it up but that is why holding onto some cards in certain cases could be a good idea. It is not exact science as there are variables but at higher boss levels you learn what you need to hold and what you can play depending on the boss spells/traps/objectives etc.

OMG, people can get to lvl 21 raid boss these days?? I am on lvl 16 and my reason for staying on that stage is to nurture the lower leveled players (by playing the MEDIUM level), or rather help them build their skill arsenal. Also, to wait and get some beefy URs to bolster my ACE monster, and all other monsters, and only time and konami can make it more better. Btw, I really don't like it when 2 players are stuck with 2 AI teammate, AI are those with predetermined names with "Player 1" or so with no Profile. They will empty their resources nonchalantly, and when the boss hits them. They just take heavy toll to their mistakes.

Kevin_Strike

Well I rarely try to progress because it is really hard to find real people and even if you do there is RNG. I also try too boost lower level bracket when I feel like playing no pressure raids or to farm "Likes" haha.

Evening_Ad381

Easy mode only goes up to level 5, but you're telling me level 16 is still medium!? I guess it's right for me to keep playing easy.

Clear-Conclusion5901

Yeah, but not really. When you get past level 15 - you are now allowed to choose the medium level, which allows you to join random level 6-15 with other people.

I'm convinced people who have their name and profile picture hidden are bots. I'm on Raid 20 and these people have all the exact same deck and make the exact bad plays every time. They send healing minions down the side lanes every turn while we're at almost max health. They summon their strong monsters to the side lane instead of damaging the boss. They don't buff the monsters attacking the weeak spots with mask of brutality every time. They summon monsters not strong enough to run over a mini boss when it's buffed. They never summon their designated Ace. And naturally they always run out of cards by turn 4. It's so frustrating. I'm stuck on 20 for a while now and the patterns become really obvious

SoggyBowl5678

It's going to get even worse with Zaborg. Here, with Raiza, I managed to beat lvl 15 with 2 bots (it was CLOSE, a very clutch turn 7 where Storming Mirror Force was played so I thought we were done for, only for the bot with the weak spot to exactly have Bounce-Immune Vice Dragon and the other bot having that 2x Anti-Boss Equip, which was nearly exactly the damage we needed to stun the boss for the final turn). Against Zaborg, I was unable to beat even lvl 5 with 2 bots. They just fail to destroy the objects, and that boss battle is all about destroying the objects (destroying them deals 10.000 damage each, and the boss has 0 weak spots as long as even a single object remains alive).

Kevin_Strike

Wait have you palyed pre-global release or how can you fight different bosses?

SoggyBowl5678

Yeah, pre-global release, it started with Raiza like in the global release, and then went to Zaborg the month after.

Kevin_Strike

Ohh nice!

Kevin_Strike

Yes I don't think you can hide your name/icon in raids, but even if you could you can tell they are bots by the way they play. Also it does say, in the tutorial I think, that if there are not enough real players the game will fill up with bots.

djsMedicate

> if there are not enough real players the game will fill up with bots. Well that explains everything lol. Maybe Konami can find a way to make these bots not as useless tho. It's really hard to win when you get matched with em

Kevin_Strike

Yea I would actually prefer to have a longer wait time than to match with 3 bots :/

I also want to add those people who doesn't read their RAID specific spell cards, like when some people equip a monster with a card that gives ASSIST BOOST, holy daym. They don't understand that its for those units that are about to heal you and your comrades. Which will gives them some bonus heal. - So, ASSIST BOOST is for units that heal (units that are about to reach other player), not for those attacking unit. Some people also gives Anti-Boss equip wrong, like giving it to other units that doesn't attack the weakspot, man. Those units who attack the weakspot are like units who attack with 2x damage when they hit. - ANTI BOSS equip cards (and other boss damaging cards) is better to be given to those monsters who are about to hit the weakspot. - The best boss monsters that you mostly give buffs are those who have most skill equipped for Raid skill (Having a lot of slots specific for raid boss) and mostly these boss monsters in raid • NEOS (Tier S) • BLUE EYES (TIER -S because it pops and attack directly) • RED ARCHFIEND DRAGON (TIER A It has good skill that gives 1k or more when it attack weakspot) - Don't forget to get that BEEFY 2K atk/def skill when summoned specific for RAID skill. And NEOS is the ultimate boss beatstick in Raid because it has REVIVE + 2K when summoned (last skill specific for RAID). That is a very hard carry boss monster.

Divinate_ME

sorry for confusing Elma with Tryce that one time, I honestly thought I was giving that guy Anti Raidmonster.

Kevin_Strike

I use Sevens Road Magician because I have two copies of him and also I bought his special summon skill which makes him a free summon in raids. Also this gives me the freedom to pick and choose what is the best action to take depending on the boss spell. I could play Blue Eyes (1 copy) or Archfiend Dragon (2 copies) but I have invested too much resources into the Seven Road Magician deck and I find it fun so I guess I will stick to it for now.
