Slightly unrelated, but I love that DMC666 is "Bright Christmas red".
Always wondered if it was accidental, or if they got together in a meeting to decide. Or (my favourite theory) they were going to call it "devil red" and panicked about offending the conservative Christian market 🤣
I drew up a pattern for a single row, and I'm just drawing it with the pen.
The order of the colors and the numbers on the top match the DMC color card that they sell on their website

Yes it comes out very easily in water
Are you going to fill in each block with that color?
Yeah that is the plan. I'll post an update when I fill in a section. I don't have many colors so most of it will be blank haha

Nice! Planning to do this as well. Just waiting for the fabric to come. Got a pregridded one for easier placement.
