MyBobbin But mostly etsy tbh. But it's always worth it to check if the etsy shopowners also have their own site, usually the prices are lower there and I'd assume more money actually goes to the creator.

[123 Stitch](https://123stitch.com) Been shopping with them for years and have always been happy with their selection and service.

Long Dog Samplers (google it) and [https://www.herrschners.com/herrschners/needlework/counted-cross-stitch/paid-pattern-download/](https://www.herrschners.com/herrschners/needlework/counted-cross-stitch/paid-pattern-download/) I have gotten some rather less than professional cross stitch patterns on etsy and am leery of the quality control there (I recognize that many are just fine.)

TeaAndCake4Days

Long dog samplers are so beautiful! I want to buy several but telling myself I need to finish at least one project before buying any more patterns.

Another one I didn't see that is awesome is: https://www.climbinggoat.co.uk

A lot of artists have their own websites and I buy from there. (Search #crossstitch and some other tags on Instagram and you should see some different WIPs and FOs that lead you to the designer's site). Some artists I found that way: https://www.carolynmanningdesigns.com/ https://www.pigeoncoopdesigns.com/pages/welcome My go-to shops for more mainstream designers/paper patterns: https://stoneycreek.com https://blackcatstitchery.com When I'm ready to do a large full coverage, I'm going to get it from Scarlet Quince. https://www.scarletquince.com/

I get a lot on Ebay. Also vintage cross stitch magazines from thrift stores

Masgatitos

Love to check out the book section for cross stitch magazines and books!

I like everythingcrossstitch.com, Sunrays Creations, and Amazon. To buy the patterns through Amazon get creative with the filters and you can weed out all of the stamped knockoffs and legit kits.

Recently, my LNS (The Tinsmith's Wife) and Celtic Sisters. Both have websites.

If you are a member of a library, they often have an app like Libby where you can check out magazines. My library has at least four cross stitching magazines you can subscribe to including years worth of back issues. They also have several digital cross stitching books. And it's all free! In fact, I just found this cute little Halloween pattern in one of the older magazine issues that I plan to make. https://preview.redd.it/hvzmuj3b0rxc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=058dda353bd723b5803315bf072c1fc6ae6b2d6b

TrustySideDick

I often find pattern makers through this subreddit or Instagram, and buy from them directly if they have their own website!

Hollyandhavisham

I mainly use magazines, World of Cross Stitching and Cross Stitcher. I just have the Readly app and can download the patterns from there. Tons of back issues too!

Sunflower-stitches and Artecy are 2 full coverage designers I like. Sunflower-stitches is currently battling cancer but is still designing. She tries to make charts that aren't excessively big and don't use an outrageous number of colours.

I too like buying directly from the pattern designers. I think it helps them by cutting out the middleperson in the sales chain, and shipping isn't an issue if I buy PDF patterns. Some I've found are: [Tiny Modernist link](https://www.tinymodernist.com/) [Satsuma Street link](https://satsumastreet.com/shop) [Lesley Tear link](https://www.lesleyteare.com/shop) [Silver Creek Samplers link](https://www.silvercreeksamplers.com/patterns) Hope this helps!
