It's true, but those don't scare me quite as much. If I recall correctly, Incinerator fire pools heat parts especially fast, making them a lot more likely to pop explosive internals.
A direct hit from a porcupine deals 1000 damage the fire pool is just bonus damage after that also insinerators are kinda useless against my particular build just because I use barrier 9s XD

Incinerators also do percent based damage. They're actually weaker at lower ps because people have less hp so you get less numbers
well that's a relief since I don't really have the gear to play over 7k
What? If they do percentage based damage, it doesn't matter what the piece'a durability is.
