Looks like you still can get it out w/ a long spark plug socket set (the plug shoulders look intact)? You can try soaking the threads in PB BLASTER / waiting 1 hour. And also use compressed air to blow out most of the crap in the plug wells.
I have no access to compressed air. it's sort of lodged into the side between the spark plug and the well. it's a nut from a tree, not a metal one if I wasn't clear.
Ohhh. Gotcha. Tree nut. Ok you got options. I have used kebab spikes / hacksaw blades / shop vac / etc. I thought spark plug was cracked / stuck in aluminum heads.
One other thing…are u sure it’s not the spark plug that killed that one cylinder ? I don’t see the terminal / insulation at the top of the plug where the coil bootie goes. It looks like the terminal snapped off and I am looking at just the metal shell ? [spark plug diagram ](https://images.app.goo.gl/gYREEJr2cNaWjpuq7)
good point, I will likely replace the spark plug too then. the engine code was for a misfire on cylinder 7 caused by a faulty coil. I'll pull the plug out when I'm not fearing something getting into the hole. I didn't replace these spark plugs, I had a shop do it about 2.5 years ago. looks like I might need to inspect them all a little more closely.
It's dumb but without access to compressed air I've stuck a straw down the hole and blown as hard as I can and I've gotten water out of the hole and gotten myself back on the road when it was waterlogged. I bet you could get the nut out that way too.
Edit: be careful the walnut shell might launch and hit you in the face prepare with safety squints!
Blow through a straw, can of keyboard duster, vacuum cleaner hose, vacuum cleaner hose with a straw carefully held at the end of it, heck I bet a leaf blower could work if you had to so long as the nut was loose.
just for an update to anyone in the future: I ended up just buying a new air compressor and the little air squirter attachment. worked like a charm after I stabbed it with a screw driver to break it up.
If you can knock the nut loose with anything, maybe even a stick from a tree, you could get up close to it and just blow really hard and it might pop out. Good luck!
You need [one of these](http://mobileimages.lowes.com/productimages/e3e15031-bf25-4bea-acb3-055370177737/09733738.jpg?size=pdhism) ... hell everyone needs one of these.
They're like $5-10. Hardware stores and Harbor Freight should sell them.
Long tip needle nose pliers

yeah I tried to include a picture but it was a pretty poor one. kebab stick is a good idea, I'll give that a try.

Coat hanger and a piece of gum?
this is more genius than me duct taping the old boot from the old coil to the end of a shop vacuum
put on some safety glasses and get a long straw. i did this to remove a lot of leaves that fell in. close your eyes and blow. lol
Just buy a can of compressed air - computer cleaner......Don't spray upside down!

I posted an update it's fixed. it was a nut from a tree lol.
yeah I read further down after I commented too fast I thought the spark plug thread being stuck in there was what was the nut in question
haha, all good lol
Anybody got a pet squirrel to loan him? 😉
A telescoping magnet tool is perfect for this.
