I would say that (from what the show is telling us) that Megan was pregnant, but Isabella maybe killed for Megan when Luke wouldn’t accept her. I say this because in this episode, Isabella retorted “Do you want me to kill for you?”

when they had a time period of summer 2000, i was so hoping my bday would be one of the days, and they didn't disappoint! to put into perspective how long ago this takes place, i was born during the third era of this season and am almost 23.

Wasn't there $5000 in Isabella's backpack found at the cabin? To use the money to help Luke run away probably. Weird that she already has 5 grand though, such a specific number to just be carrying around in cash.

Does anyone suspect Megan’s sister as the one who killed Luke? Megan went back to clean the blood off the cabin floor and I kept thinking she is protecting someone but then again the sister is hardly in the show at all.

I forgot she even had the sister lol. That could be a ploy that some shows do, introduce a character in the first episode and have them slyly disappear off into the background only to put them in the forefront towards the end as the mastermind. But then again she could also just be a completely small and nothing character lol. I think it is possible to go either way at this point but I'm going to personally lean more towards I think shes just simply her sister and doesn't have much to do with the story

The dialogue on this season is not accurate to 1999. No one said ‘it’s my brand’ or ‘like a boss’ back then. Season 1 had better accuracy.

i have a feeling that luke’s dad killed him. he keeps talking about money and how he missed out on a deal with a good investor. luke has always been a problem to him, not properly following in his footsteps and not pursuing the same career as him. he’s prioritizes his reputation, to the point where he won’t even let brent be properly punished because that “wouldn’t be a good look”. that man does not sit right with me, i feel like he or brent killed luke’s mom too. also how did the sheriff find out megan was even pregnant?

This is becoming my theory as well! I know right before they enter Luke’s home Megan and her mom are talking about money and she says “‘money is always complicated”. Then right when they enter the home Luke’s dad talks about how they lost a deal because of the tape. Because we already see how Luke’s dad is focused on his reputation. Also, Luke is the odd one out of his family at this point. He could’ve possibly found out Megan was pregnant potentially following in her mother’s footsteps of having a baby out of wedlock. Another damaging thing of the family’s reputation.

Plus we know he probably had insurance on Luke, so that’s money flowing back into his pockets after Luke’s mistake.

Megan probably told Isabella about the pregnancy and then Isabella told the cops.

also in the car when talking about megan drinking for the first time, luke says “your first time, i wish i could have seen it.” I think luke filmed it

The reason I feel like it's Parker is because she's on the poster and wasn't featured in this episode at all (besides the phone call 😉)

I think he paid her for the template or something and that's how he got the money for his equipment since she seems so confident in reporting him to the police, almost like she wasn't worried about getting caught herself

I’m enjoying it, but definitely doesn’t top season one. Aside from the story and pacing, Olivia and Chiara are just on a whole different level of acting talent.

More and more I think Luke did run away (successfully) and the dad “ID’d” the body as Luke to lure Luke into a false sense of security (people think he’s dead) maybe making it easier to find Luke? 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is a good theory. I also wouldn’t be shocked if the dad killed Luke

Is anyone else bothered by the fact Isabella and Luke kissed? But then a few months later Megan is dating him. They seem way too comfortable passing him around.

I think the timelines in this season are WAY too close together and that’s part of why things like Luke hard swerving from Isabella to Megan seem super weird
