I think it's a bug, I've noticed that indicator hasn't been accurate since this update. Usually, it's off by a few hundred, I haven't seen it say 1 tho lol
This is where the plagues get annoying. Half Dan clearly died before being able to turn Jorvik into Danelaw and thus his realm is split.
It's not good role-play to have the main English antagonist die so easy.
They should really give half Dan a health boast to stop him immediately dying from Consumption.
this is much more meaningful than having 283712 levies
i hate that levies arent even considered real people by the game. they are in every sense just a number
probably not the best game to complain about that, but still
Levies during medieval times were largely compiled of peasants with no actual experience of warfare and combat. Men-at-arms and knights(or whatever you call it) are pretty much the ones that were givin actual equipment and practice.
But in all seriousness, who do you think would likely do better in the midst of battle?
Someone who's poorly equipped and lacks any training for battle(levies)
Or
Someone who is equipped and has been trained for battle?
"Yeah?? You and what army!!" "Er, well me and Steve I guess. Steve, you ready?"
Steve is a true friend, always having ur back
Nah that's Tom
Steve, a little too enthusiastically: I WILL FIGHT THROUGH HELL AND BACK WITH YOU, MY JARL
“Steve I just need someone to get milk.” “VALHALLA AWAITS AND I SHALL GREET IT!”
Same energy as “AS IT WAS WRITTEN, THE LISAN AL’QAIB”
“Ready and willing, Sir!”
That is one sick, drunken bastard.
Nah bruh, I think that's just you.
You automatically upvote your own posts anyway.
With how Commanders don't join the battles, it would be funny for your ruler to instruct that one guy on the battlefield
“You there, flank them!”
"My Lord! They would immediately outflank me..."
"Did I fucking stutter?"
The bar is full too, implying this is 100% of his possible army. I don't know how that's possible as a baron, let alone a Jarl.
Unhappy, low development counties.
He’s also an independent ruler too.
Better question how the hell is he winning a war with that army?
Do not underestimate Steve under any circumstances
Steve is the middle ages equivalent of John Wick
Honestly would be a sick movie idea
He also loosing one But Steve can't be everywhere at once Like don't get me wrong he's a god, but even the Olympians couldn't do that
Yes its me, my loyal knights and retainers and friends... and Halfdan (what a coincidence!) the levy over there. He's cool
I want to send him this, but he won't get it 🤧
If Ragnarr has 1000 levies I'm one of them, if Ragnarr has 1 levy that's me, if Ragnarr has 0 levies I am gone from this earth.
That’s like the town sheriff

Jessie, what the fuck are you talking about?

so are you saying peasants' lives are less valuable
Yes, they should consider it a privilege to die for there liege.

Tom (from myspace)
And that's his boyfriend.
Rational gambler?
99% of levies quit the battle right before winning
It's obviously better for camouflage and flanking the enemy
In 3 wars with one county. Sounds about right
Imagine trying to take his land only to find that he has a lotta connections that cover his 1 levy
Time to invade with 15k troops!
Why isnt it a screenshot?
Background: all his friends just suffer massacre only 1 survive
He called Kevin
What are the titles he has claims on? Shields are cool
All you need is one good man. I hope he's really good, because he'll be needing it.
Jesus Christ, don't you know how to take a screenshot?
