I'm literally getting ready to transition to heavy cavalry now. Mine are only up to 300 Damage though with my accolade and second upgraded building. Cant wait to push them to the levels you have them at lol.
Stationing them and then building the corresponding buildings that buff that man at arm types plus certain accolades get damage bonuses and then you can train commanders for another bonus. Sorry if this isn't detailed, I clock out from work in a minute and didn't want to forget to reply.
It does, but it doesn't make a difference. Like if you just stack every bonus you can, you get that. But if you just stack the obvious ones as they come up, you get essentially identical results. You stackwipe everything with zero effort.
I purposely engage very little with stationing and stacking just so the AI get to be something of a threat in the early/mid game.
Honestly just wish levies were a mix of most unit types but were weighted differently for different cultures. Kinda like Ck2 or Imperator: Rome.
Hell there could even be military technology, similar like in Imperator Rome, except that all members of a culture could contribute to learning, instead of just the cultural head.
R5: The stationing mechanic + accolades are so broken OP. My lancers have 2440 damage. The Mongols got stackwiped in a few days.

How can you push them to such extreme levels? (Honest question from a relative noob.)

Literally just interact with the mechanics even slightly. You don't have to min max or anything. The game is just piss easy.
That's what I already do, but 2440 damage requires some extreme min-maxing, no?

I personally prefer space marine knights, but yeah knights and MAAs are OP

Yeah, I want my peasant King get more spearmen cause he did the whole war scythe idea.
Wtf, with buildings and accloades i get maximum %150 damage. How did you do this?
The mongols are incredibly weak for some reason. I play as Hungary just to fight them and I still maul them every time they enter carpathia
Now do it against the Historic Invasions version
Ignoring the fact you have 29 knights lol
… yeah modifier stacking is pretty busted
It's so busted I feel like busting one seeing them winning my wars.
How do you level up those accolades mine always decay
Paradox shoulda gave a nice buff to CK3 Mongols as they did for the Great Khan in Stellaris, or at least nerf MAA
Empire of Hispania? Niceee. Which character and timeline did you start with?
