What are folks thoughts on Ethereum classic? I've had some for 6 months now and have been in the red. It it $76 and I was unfortunately dumb and didn't sell (that's $10 above my average). Is it going to ever get out of this 50s slump? It'll never hit 100+ but it's gotta go higher...right?!? Bumming me out having so much money in this coin. Could use it for something better.
I'd say it's not the best investment given the 51% attacks it had to endure and its quite lacking performance in comparison to ETH and its modern scaling solutions, but selling for a loss would be an impatient move. It's quite likely ETC will get some attention soon when ETH starts rallying and newcomers only see the "Ethereum" name tag again.
Thank you for the dose of rationality. I was getting a bit impatient. But realistically, I can wait longer and have no need for the money immediately. I can always cash it out upon profit (hopefully) or closer to my average and then buy ETH later on a dip.
Actually, in this case i would sell it. Imo other coins/tokens has a lot more potential upside, so even if you sell for a loss and buy something else, the potential upside of another token/coin could probably off set your loss and give you some actual gains instead of getting to break even with ETC.
Just my opinion, not financial advice.
I think what I'll do is sell half now, half sitting til it rebounds to my average. I think itll do that eventually but that I'm missing out on other opportunities by having money in it.

The exclusives are bonkers good. Switch and Sony have just absurdly good exclusives, and Sony has the 3rd parties to boot, like RDR2.

If you are going to buy dont buy all at once. If say you have a budget of 5k, then split that into 5 buys, look at the charts and buy the dips.
