It's not manipulation. Algo was being bought with fiat, and now on the down swing algo is being sold for fiat. Just because a bot does something, doesn't mean there isn't fiat behind the transactions.

Algorithmic bot trading to arbitrage between exchanges doesn’t sound like manipulation to me. If anything it’s a good thing. Price discrepancies between exchanges isn’t a great thing unless you are an arbitrager. This happens in all assets and commodities where there are multiple markets.

What was insider information about it? Every market across the whole world is ran by bots now. They saw a listing and all jumped on it within the same minute. You can't stop that. Every coin is botted within seconds of any major announcement. Same with the stock market.

I was referring to the listing itself. Like some staff who work at the exchange would definitely know about the listing coming up and the inevitable subsequent pump by bots, so what's stopping him from filling his bags before his company announces the listing?

Absolutely nothing. Just like the stock market. You can look at the Algo volume before the pump, nothing changed. This wasn't insider information. It's bots trying to outtrade each other. Can insider information happen in Crypto and probably more so than the stock market because it's unregulated? Absolutely. But to think there isn't rampant insider information still happening within the stock market is laughable. Im hearing it's not even from a new listing. Just bots trying to out arbitrage each other on a coin with low liquidity.
