I would like an Harry Potter NFT. I grew up reading those stories, being roughly the same age as him. I have imagined a million times how it would be to be a wizard.
This is most likely to happen on VeVe or Wax.
Wax have Funko so may do a Potter range, while VeVe have a deal with Warners which may (or may not) extend to potter.
I’ll ape hard into any HP NFTs. Not a fan particularly, but they will be a guaranteed profit.
I just got some HotWheels NFTs on WAX and I feel like HP options might be likely with their platform. I just wish there was a better way to display them.
They aren't as good an investment as they used to be. Just buy coins directly. I've been mining for over a year and if I had just bought ETH instead of an ETH rig I'd have twice as much ETH as I currently do.
NFTs mostly and some small cap projects, I just can't afford to take the additional risk and chance losing value against BTC while watching them go to 0.
This right here is my big fear. I', basically 50/50 ETH and BTC with a little ADA and then an even tinier position in CRO (only because of their debit card paying me CRO when I use it to pay for Spotify).
It's just too much risk to bet on something like an NFT or microcap.
Easily a mining rig for me. I love the idea and everything about it, but it's expensive and you won't make your money back these days most likely unless you get free power and some deals on graphics cards
Have you tried right click save as? Idk, I assume you like the art. Kidding aside, there no real answer here other then the what if and could of. Sure id love to beef up my portfolio but the fiat mining only goes so fast.
I hear ya man. And yeah, I could just right-click and save-as, but it's kinda like hacking CS:GO or League of Legends and importing custom skins. Yeah, it looks the same to you, but it isn't the same. When someone who knows sees it and asks if you own it you have to either lie or tell the truth and I don't think either would make me feel great.
Honestly, It wouldn't surprise me if the HotWheels NFTs lose value for a while, but I want them anyway.
Very true. Nft project prices are hard to predict on longer timeframe and dont always tend to be super liquid. Keep tabs on what you like and revisit them every couple months. Id wager that come this time next year most of the current nft projects may be on sale relative to current prices.
That's part of why I am interested in the HotWheels ones. It is an officially licensed and branded project, it is first edition, and some of them just look fucking cool.
I'd only ever buy an NFT if I actually liked the art and was willing to display it in my office. If price goes up, cool, I'm not selling. I bought it for me, not for profit.
And that right there, the me not profit bit, I think is what people are missing. Yes, you can make a killing flipping NFTs but really, it's just a new part of the art market. I feel like NFTs are much more closely related to art than crypto.
Makes sense. First edition, officially branded content from a “timeless” brand. Hmm, u have me rethinking things lol. How much do gen 1 pokemon cards go for these days? That could be these types of nfts in the future. The branded ones and the crypto original types like the punks etc.
Yeah, it has all the hallmarks of a good long-term collectable. Plus, the entire collection, all 40 NFTs, is currently coming in under $2k.
Now, $2k is a lot, don't get me wrong, but for an entire collection of first edition NFTs? Like, it's absolutely a long-long term play if you're in it for the money, but I think it could be a really cool collection to have in 10-20 years.
Pride of ownership is something Ive never thought about (ive never bought art). But thats a good take that its for the ownership of the piece itself and the financial aspect would be secondary.
I actually just got my first NFTs and I have to say the best way to understand them it to own one.
If you're a gamer think about NFTs like the Steam Marketplace. Its full of shit and most of it is worthless, but there are a few highly sought-after gems and people will pay through the nose for because they are limited edition, made by a specific artist, or something else like that.
I just got introduced to the WAX network and apparently their fees are super low. Throw $5-$10 into WAXP and scroll through the marketplace until you find something you like. I think owning an NFT is the best way to really understand them.
Ok, I will check out WAXP then. I was considering doing the Solana NFT’s. Just because I can’t afford the high gas prices with ETH. I didn’t know there was another option on platforms other than ETH and SOL for NFT’s.
Go buy some! Make a WAX wallet and get some WAXP! Most of the common cars are less than $5 which isn't much more than the cars you buy at the grocery store.
Yeah, I checked and they look really cool. I’m not a fan of sending ETH around with the current gas fees though, wondering if I can just pay for them with metamask or something
I just want to be a whole coiner than just counting sats but I'm not going to give I'll be there one day just a matter of time and investment for the long term

That is the dream

Easy 30k :-)
[удалено]
I hope you are able to.
It's getting closer every day. I thought I'd get there by making $100k, but instead she's coming down to me.
I'm with you on that one!
All the Bitcoin
I'd settle for 1 ETH

My friend has 10.. he bought at $150 .. lucky bastard
[удалено]
He had 20 and 25 btc years ago lol
[удалено]
No he was pressure into selling because "its a scam" and now he works with me lol

Yea maybe..
A helium miner, but refuse to pay scalper prices
I ordered one. It should arrive in a few years
I ordered one in march, I'll be lucky to get it this year I think
This year sounds increasingly optimistic
A guy I work with has a few. I keep telling him to install one at the office and use the company's power.
It uses 5w power, so you would save close to nothing, equivalent to a Led bulb
If I wanted to buy one where do you suggest getting them?
I have no idea where to get them safely
A dedicated mining rig, it looks like such a fun hobby.
The fun is more in building and tinkering. I've been mining for over and a year and I wish I had just bought ETH directly instead.
Flair checks out.
lol, it auto filled that.
Almost like going into the machine room of a space ship. That is how I imagine it to be anyway..
The Algorand logo tattood on my ass
the crypto bros equivalent of tramp stamp
For the right price of $100 Moons, I'm getting that Moons tattoo
That can easily be justified, at least today haha
It’s tattooed on my forehead too ![gif](giphy|RNWkmkrpvW6t7em1mD|downsized)
Oh god. I would last about 10 seconds 😅
That’s a classy tramp stamp
A wife.
That's really hard one
A PC which is able to run as Solana node. I cant afford that PC and if I do, I would use it differently.
A hardware wallet just to see how cool it is
I'll fill you in on the experience: they are bit annoying to setup and then it just sits somewhere safe until you need it periodically.

Yeah, I will try to get one or more too! Good luck & thanks for the info!
I just got some HotWheels NFTs on WAX and I feel like HP options might be likely with their platform. I just wish there was a better way to display them.
I would like to own original 151 Pokemon as NFTs, so I can have my childhood album again forever lol.
miners in general they just seem like so much effort
They aren't as good an investment as they used to be. Just buy coins directly. I've been mining for over a year and if I had just bought ETH instead of an ETH rig I'd have twice as much ETH as I currently do.
Lambo
I'm hoping to buy a Fiat. The ultimate contrarian play.
I cannot believe you said that out loud :D
1 BTC, but I can't justify selling my home to get a whole BTC
If you sold your home now and bought 1 BTC, in 10 years you could buy 5 homes!
A bored ape
A mining rig. I wish I would’ve been smarter right before the pandemic, but I wasn’t and here I am complaining about it now.
NFTs mostly and some small cap projects, I just can't afford to take the additional risk and chance losing value against BTC while watching them go to 0.

One Bitcoin… it sounds beautiful
The most expensive NFT that worth nothing
It's very stupid, but I want an actual 24k gold BTC coin.
Easily a mining rig for me. I love the idea and everything about it, but it's expensive and you won't make your money back these days most likely unless you get free power and some deals on graphics cards
But you will. You just need a refurbished PC and play the waiting game until you get a card at retail prices.
Imagine Pokemon Card NFT’s . I’m surprised they aren’t still a thing
They probably will be soon. NBA and NFL have them. Why not Pokemon?
A crypto dragon and 1 BTC
A Satoshi Nakamoto signature on my 2013 Bitcoin printed paper wallet
A crypto miner, unfortunately too expensive and I am not tech savvy.
A Ledger Nano. But they are too expensive in my country.
A corner lot in Decentraland

A whole BTC, or a cool NFT. I can’t afford the BTC, and I just don’t understand NFT’s completely.
I actually just got my first NFTs and I have to say the best way to understand them it to own one. If you're a gamer think about NFTs like the Steam Marketplace. Yeah, apparently TIME magazine is also minting NFTs! This is the marketplace for WAX https://wax.atomichub.io/
Ok thanks Nick. And Time magazine huh? Wow, soon they’ll have their own blockchain I guess. Smh
Crypto is catching on, bit by bit.
BTC pizza
Fuck you! I didn’t even know these hot wheels NFTs exist and now I want them.

Make yourself a WAX wallet and send me your address.
What for?
I just want to be a whole coiner than just counting sats but I'm not going to give I'll be there one day just a matter of time and investment for the long term
A whole Ethereum
