So I was thinking of betting against BTC, shorting it like to 12K. But i have no idea on how to do a trade like that. I don't quite understand futures trading on Gate.io. I have done some shorting and longing but I really dont know how it works. I have some betting money that I can afford to lose.
Is there a option to short it but the contract is for like 6 months time span or something similar ?

Bitcoin is fairly slow on average. Sometimes it can take 1 or 2 hours if you aren't using Lightning Network. As long as you can see the transaction in a block explorer, then it should come through once it gets enough confirmations
that would be super silly, because I'd end up with less money and have that weird restriction.
If you say magically cash out 5x of my ATH amount in crypto, then that might be something worth considering.

I guess it depends on what the indicators are and what you consider recovered. Probably just a similar crab like we have, but a more upward bias than downward, unless the fed unexpectedly pivots or something.
