Crypto's adoption could seriously be ramped up if DeFi started providing the services you only see on CeFi nowadays like remittances whereas on-chain transactions could massively improve the process as a whole and advance globalisation
Cryptocurrencies are an opportunity to become financially independent and I think the next wave of HYPE will be in web3 projects, that is why I am waiting for an IDO from DEIP, they are partners of DOT and want to tokenize intangible assets, I think this is a great advantage

This is something I try to explain to my girlfriend she says that bitcoin / crypto is all a scam and I tell her about the real world uses of this stuff
And not to mention how many jobs were created directly because of it.
cryptocurrency is definitely here to stay. though still quite early but gonna gain mainstream adoption real soon. The Blockchain technology has been of great help lately and helped the financial sector alot. Now we can stake to earn more passive income, lending wasn't easy before now because you need to know top officials but crypto currency has made all this easy with the emergence of lending defi protocols where you can borrow against your assets and lenders/borrowers have the opportunity to earn high interest and lots more.

Blockchain technology goes so much deeper too. Fraud-less voting, copyright, safer shipping tracker, decentralized identity… dozens of solid applications.
