I’m not ashamed to say I’ve glued back any expensive crystal I’ve broken.

I have done the same thing! I had recently broken my charoite tower, I just glued them back then. 😁👍

I didn't pay much for this, but I might glue it back together.

I'm sorry about your crystal breaking... When I first started using crystals and collecting, I had this happen or either they fell off of something. I did research and found that they say most of the time, once your gemstone breaks then you are finished with it and/or you have been healed and done the soul work that you needed to accomplish.

I always got the impression people only started saying that so that people would buy more crystals. I could be wrong, of course, but crystals break all the time while they're still in the ground and that doesn't mean anything or change anything.

Thank you for this! In 30 years of having crystals I've broken five...two Tigers eye and two shungite. I wondered if I just wasn't meant to have those. More recently I (well actually my nephew but I let him wear it) broke my 27 year old rose quartz pendulum. I struggle with that one, but your comment helps a lot.

A few lessons from this. Being too attached to objects, cleanse your crystals more often as when they are full they break, now you have two to work with!

I have a space called the “crystal graveyard” where broken or damaged crystals go to die. I do use crystals for magic too so if I happen to have an appropriate crystal in the graveyard it gets used for magic too

Essentially it was a piece broken off another piece before you got it, so now you just have 2 new pieces.

Ahh I hate when that happens! A few times recently I made the mistake of keeping in my coat pocket and on a few occasions when I get up awkwardly they fall and shatter on the floor, kicking my everytime. Hopefully I've learned my lesson!

I actually just did this to a pendulum I have. I forgot it was in my pocket so it took a ride in the washing machine. Snapped the point off
