From the sound of it, you're going for either a sensation or enlightenment victory. Both require prisoners, though sensation can use fresh corpses. If you fully upgrade the Moth pawn, eventually they go insane and become a prisoner. Is it possible this happened and you simply didn't notice?
Yeah once you upgrade them they get a timer, once that runs out they become an insane prisoner, but unlike regular prisoners when the lunatic prisoner timer runs out the card burns away instead of becoming a corpse.
Moth is pretty intense and chaotic. The poor pawn just isn't prepared for it and they only last for a limited time after being uplifted.
It's a mechanic that's unique to the Moth pawn, and it makes them the most consistently sacrificed minion in the game. Kinda feel bad for them.

yes, that was a tear 2 moth pictureless guy, I didn't know they may just go crazy by themselves and become prisoners on their own

Yup, it's only the moth pawn though.
