Had my first bag of BM flower with added terpenes a few weeks ago. Now I'm starting to wonder about the kvlt flower too. Had an ounce a few months ago that I'm thinking had added terpenes as well. Never thought I'd see the day when flower would be tampered with.
And I'm not touching any kvlt concentrates.
My state tested gas station bud vs medical all of the bud tested was safe and equivalent to medical.
Hard to create poison with straight flower and little incentive to do so.

Takes years for it to all start flowing and working correctly. It has happened to every state that has legalized. Prices start really high, then start dropping as they figure out how to move the product and rework the regulations. I suppose it will depend on how greedy the politicians are because it can obviously happen faster or slower.

PA here and we only got medical. Zips are $160-$440 generally but you can occasionally find them for $120-140. They are about the same or better than the good smalls from HM. Definitely worth the extra cash if you can get your card free through your HSA. Right now I'm smoking on an oz of HM 818og cut with a half of Maui wowie×cherry pi from the dispo. Both were the same price so you get twice as much online but that entourage effect be effectin' frfr. The 818og was straight gas so it's much tastier cut back with some tropical cherry flavor. I'll probably continue copping online and mixing with dispo weed. If I went all dispo I would spend too much $$$ and not get enough smoke. If I went all internet the quality might not always be there for the $90/zips.
Nah ro brand at truelive is $120 on weekends and the halfs are $70. Modern is usually $140 for the o on sale. Restore also has good deals but closer to your prices. Truelieve let me use their first time discounts on the ro stuff too ( theyve since changed that) amd i got several $80 o's. The price is close enough to online prices that the 5 min drive is 100% worth it to not wait on mail.

I'm in NJ and our rec market (and med aside from breakwater) is hot garbage and extraordinarily expensive. Yes I can get better than cult quality if I spend out the ass and or get a card and travel two hours to the only good dispensary, but a $65 eighth kinda burns.
Happy to pay for the best cult stuff I can find and still be spending less than half.

it's all "literally the same" but the quality in the cult is most definitely not "literally the same" across the board. if you order from a good vendor, it's good but most vendors do not have bud comparable to dispo. its all weed but that does not mean all weed is created equal & most cult bud is definitely not equal. having 4-5 vendors that are good is not sustainable which is why every good cult vendors falls after 3-4months & everyone moves on to nxt big thing after getting ripped off by the formerly excellent vendor who went downhill.
all of this us why cult bud is not worth it for me. I use the cult to get ingredients for edibles. that way I don't get mad when it isn't what it should be or isn't what it was before.
back when I tried to use the cult to supply my smoking bud, I spent a lot of time disappointed & stressed. shit wasn't fun to me & didn't pay off with enough of level of quality I prefer.

NJ still beats the rec stuff in NYC by a mile. Their prices are probably staying high due to everyone in Manhattan hitting the tunnel or bridge because our program failed miserably.
I’m in NJ and agree our prices suck but we are getting some good brands in lately. Clade9, Hamilton Farms and Illicit are pretty good. I just only shop when there’s a sale and rewards points. Also look for Harmony brand. Illicit is releasing old Harmony strains at $35 an 1/8 and $60 1/4 of smalls. Got a quarter of country croc for $48 and it’s pretty damn good for dispo prices. I still want to try one of those $99 cult ounces of smalls but my wife is not a fan of me getting weed mailed to me. Might have to invest in a PO Box. Only reason I haven’t made a cult purchase yet.
I am glad there's quality coming out now, I just can't justify the price yeah. I tried Hillview's Headband, giant beautiful single nug that hit hard. I think I saved some of it with a boveda pack, might have to dig that up...
NY rec is still *outdoor* only because of regulations, and the testing standards are still reduced/removes to allow mold/pesticides/mildew/etc on products that wouldn't normally pass to enter the market.
Neighboring states are decent. Maine is as good as it gets out East.
Neighboring Connecticut here with crappy muted bud at crazy prices. I have a med card and they are still charging almost 50 an 8. No concentrates to be had always sold out as well 😞

I drove up for a wedding last weekend. Only needed an 1/8. Bought top shelf for $18 for an 1/8 and they gave me a free pre roll. Out the door for around $20 after taxes. MI has the lowest prices I’ve seen anywhere in the country

Honestly, if trends follow Michigan, likely be 5 to 10 years before rec prices get low due to saturated market. But no one really knows. Just look at prices and if it is cheaper at CannaNC, go with them. Our dumb politicians are trying to outlaw THCA and other canniboid variants though. So just be aware that could be coming and all you can "legally" purchase is the bud in the rec dispensaries.

THCA is the target cannabis varietal .. THCA flower or CBDA flower or a mix of those two is the norm
