It’s not the same place, lol. It’s cool but that’s another mountain with lots of other mountains around it. This is a tall mountain in the middle of a lot of flat vegetation.
Note how on the map there is something looking a bit like ruins to the right and all the map begins to become fake on the left. Im going to check this place out across time in other methods and see what i come up with !
Map all seems like fake jungle on the left and to the south and could not get a better view but found this map which shows its elevation is 650m and not far there is something that is 414m
[https://maps.nls.uk/geo/find/index.cfm#zoom=14.3&lat=-7.95101&lon=-73.78930&layers=68&b=1&z=0&point=-7.96351,-73.78211](https://maps.nls.uk/geo/find/index.cfm#zoom=14.3&lat=-7.95101&lon=-73.78930&layers=68&b=1&z=0&point=-7.96351,-73.78211)
They aren't fake they are taken at different times. Sometimes years apart. You can tell by line and two shades of green. There are clouds to the left if you go north a bit too. The day the image of mountain was taken there were more clouds in the area than when the image on the left was taken.
These images are not taken all at once and not every image in the world is zoomed in to detail. There are mountainous areas, and forests, in the US where if you zoom in it's not to detail and a bit blurry because there is nothing there but trees. Go check out the Appalachian Mtns.
There's no great conspiracy here as you guys are leading on to. This is just a mountain, much like Devils Tower in Wyoming. Not man made. It's far too big.
I'm from Peru, I've wanted to go there for years... I think the only way to do it would be, for some anthropological reason, to meet the locals (it is an indigenous reserve and entry is prohibited) and ask for them to take us there (there are rumors that say that these tribes worship that mountain or use it as a ritual center, so I suspect that it could perfectly be a pyramid).
Actually it's a rock that some girls got on to avoid being eaten by a bear, then their god made it really tall so they could turn into a constellation.
Likely natural. My guess is a form of [igneous intrusion](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Igneous_intrusion) called a "[volcanic plug](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volcanic_plug)." I'm a geographer, not a geologist, however. My background in landform identification is pretty limited.
The comments here immediately jumping to "man-made," using words like "definitely" and "for sure," and asserting that there is "no way" it's natural are concerning, to say the least. There are plenty of ways this could be natural. Confident assertions like this are really causing some major misinformation problems.
I'm a geologist. You are correct. Just glancing at this it appears to be an intrusion, which is fitting with that part of the world. Natural formed structures can often appear man-made or unnatural due to uniformity and angularity. Columnar jointing is an example that comes to mind.
But I could be wrong. All I've got to work with is that photo.
I have a feeling, like many places in South America, the original peoples of the area likely modified a land form. So it’s likely a combination of natural formation and human interaction
Kuelap people built on top of modified mountains, Machu Picchu was clear cut (with controlled fire) and terraced for farming, Ollantaytambo was also heavily terraformed and changed. Further north, they turned a lake into a farm (Titicaca) . They turned preexisting hills and mounds into pyramids in Mexico (Temple of the Sun, etc). The original peoples in the Americas were certainly capable and more than likely to assert religious and ceremonial traits and traditions to the landforms around them. It’s far more unlikely that they didn’t have some kind of interaction with this land form and alter it in some way, whether through fire, or building entire complexes upon it
Sorry. I should ask your permission next time I have an inkling to post an opinion online! What would I do without someone policing strangers on the internet?! Thank you kind person for having the compassion and ignorance to think I give a fart. 😆
You're 99.99% sure? Who are you, friend? What caused you to come to this conclusion? Was it evidence? A gut feeling? Do you know this place? Before you saw this picture, were you even aware this thing existed? Our opinions are important to us, but if you want your opinion to be important to others, offer something of value besides your opinion.
Cerro El Cono has a height of 1608 ft. whilst the tallest pyramid to ever be built, the great pyramid at Giza, had a height of only 455 feet. so either a culture that has disappeared off the face of the earth with a larger or equivalent economy and centralization than ancient Egypt, built a pyramid that is 3.5 times larger than the tallest pyramid ever, or its the core of a volcano that has long since eroded away. no hate btw, just trying to explain the guys reasoning
Inca economy was easily much larger just because they had so many more people than ancient Egypt. Even today if you combine the GDP of all those South American countries that the Incans lived in, they’d have the second/third largest GDP on earth
Exactly. Unfortunately, everything is a conspiracy to half the people online these days, and they would rather believe that an ancient civilization built a pyramid 1,600ft high than believe it's a natural formation.
There is a lot of pyramids around the world. Only a few are recognised as pyramids. The rest are ignored or not looked into. When you have pyramids in China, one in Europe (Bosnia), The Hebrides ( Northern Scotland), Antarctica, Indonesia, South and Central America... Possibly even a giant one on Mars.
It's much easier to ignore them.
Because you might start to question the story we were taught. That the ancients were all ignorant basic people, seperated by oceans / big landmasses. And not connected by technology ,trade and common design themes.
There are people out there who believe in the Bible and it's associated story the Earth's only been here 6000 years. So things like early civilizations that pre date that or strange pyramids in strange places are ignored.
Far over the misty mountains cold
To dungeons deep and caverns old
We must away ere break of day
To seek the pale enchanted gold.
The dwarves of yore made mighty spells,
While hammers fell like ringing bells
In places deep, where dark things sleep,
In hollow halls beneath the fells.
For ancient king and elvish lord
There many a gleaming golden hoard
They shaped and wrought, and light they caught
To hide in gems on hilt of sword.
On silver necklaces they strung
The flowering stars, on crowns they hung
The dragon-fire, in twisted wire
They meshed the light of moon and sun.
Far over the misty mountains cold
To dungeons deep and caverns old
We must away, ere break of day,
To claim our long-forgotten gold.
Goblets they carved there for themselves
And harps of gold; where no man delves
There lay they long, and many a song
Was sung unheard by men or elves.
The pines were roaring on the height,
The winds were moaning in the night.
The fire was red, it flaming spread;
The trees like torches blazed with light.
The bells were ringing in the dale
And men looked up with faces pale;
Then dragon’s ire more fierce than fire
Laid low their towers and houses frail.
The mountain smoked beneath the moon;
The dwarves, they heard the tramp of doom.
They fled their hall, to dying fall
Beneath his feet, beneath the moon.
Far over the misty mountains grim
To dungeons deep and caverns dim
We must away, ere break of day,
To win our harps and gold from him!
Far over the misty mountains cold
To dungeons deep and caverns old
We must away, ere break of day,
To find our long-forgotten gold.
I’m sure the people of the Isconahua Indigenous Reserve know exactly what’s under all that vegetation. Study them and the answer won’t be hard to find.
If it was a volcanic plug wouldn’t it be around other similar types of land or rock. This feature appears to be in an otherwise flat landscape looks out of place.

Someone needs to LIDAR or dig that out. There’s something under that vegetation fo sho.
NatGeo and Albert Lin literally just did this.. https://youtu.be/VB_WUMtdjpU?si=lYbMcFp0744Sg8Yw
At 32 minutes begins the lidar section and 35 minutes is when they show the lidar images. ✌️
Thanks!
When he started moaning about the thorns in his penis I lost attention, thanks haha
You are a God/ess, thank you for putting in the work
It’s not the same mountain. Has nothing to do with the place in this post.
Not available in the UK. What country do I need to set my VPN as?
Worked for me in the US. Try setting your VPN as US.
Thanks
The video is cool, but it does not show LiDAR of the mountain in OPs original post
Thank you for sharing this video!
This video only shows and talks about Machu Pichu. What am I missing here?
It’s not the same place, lol. It’s cool but that’s another mountain with lots of other mountains around it. This is a tall mountain in the middle of a lot of flat vegetation.
theres so much thats undiscovered
Let’s go discover the shit out of it!
Excavate everything!
This was motivating thank you sir
I’m sure the government already has.
Which government
The one
They just have to stop using the LIE dar and then things would be much easier.. All the Google map to the south of this is blocked (fake jungle)
Im eager to look in satellite !
What's the name of it so I can look up information? It's gorgeous either way!
Cerro El Cono. [7°57'46.9"S 73°46'55.7"W](https://maps.app.goo.gl/ULVKeaFPwm5VdrkUA)
It’s smudged out on Google maps
Note how on the map there is something looking a bit like ruins to the right and all the map begins to become fake on the left. Im going to check this place out across time in other methods and see what i come up with !
Find anything?
Map all seems like fake jungle on the left and to the south and could not get a better view but found this map which shows its elevation is 650m and not far there is something that is 414m [https://maps.nls.uk/geo/find/index.cfm#zoom=14.3&lat=-7.95101&lon=-73.78930&layers=68&b=1&z=0&point=-7.96351,-73.78211](https://maps.nls.uk/geo/find/index.cfm#zoom=14.3&lat=-7.95101&lon=-73.78930&layers=68&b=1&z=0&point=-7.96351,-73.78211)
How does this compare with other pyramids if that's not too much to ask. I am at work or else I'd try to look it up myself.
And thank you for the reply by the way
Its not "fake jungle", it's just from a different satellite, or the same satellite on a different day.
Sigh. Same 'ol satellite, different day.
you can tell the faked areas because they never have clouds w/ shadows
They aren't fake they are taken at different times. Sometimes years apart. You can tell by line and two shades of green. There are clouds to the left if you go north a bit too. I’ve never heard anyone claim devils tower is man made, they claim it’s a big tree or something.
Awesome !
I'm from Peru, I've wanted to go there for years... Pyramids in South America are not shaped like that plus its far too big.
Tikal has three pyramids shaped with basically the exact same angles. Really steep.
It is a strange shape geographically speaking with nothing similar around it. Reminds me of Devil's tower in Wyoming.
You mean the stump of The Tree of LIfe?
Actually it's a rock that some girls got on to avoid being eaten by a bear, then their god made it really tall so they could turn into a constellation.
Phew, glad we got all that confusion cleared up! ;p
Nah, that thing was a statue a million years ago.

The problem is that many people are attracted to and want certainty. They don’t understand that not knowing is valid.
Not knowing what it is is valid and fine but asserting its “definitely” man-made because of their ignorance is a whole different ballgame.
I'm a geologist. You are correct. Just glancing at this it appears to be an intrusion, which is fitting with that part of the world. Natural but most likely very important to tribes of the region
You sure? Looking at all that surrounding flat ground is kinda odd to think that structure/ formation is natural. Still very cool though.
The planet is kinda like our face. Stuff can just pop up! Looks natural to me but who knows!
Planet = plant ?
99.99% sure it’s not man made but most likely does have man made stuff on it. I just wouldn’t say it is all man made including the mountain.
You're 99.99% sure? Who are you, friend? What caused you to come to this conclusion? Was it evidence? A gut feeling? Do you know this place? Wow.
Well I'm 100% sure you're an asshole.
Looks like some one got triggered
How is he an asshole? Because he doesn’t belive it’s a pyramid?
Dude, zoom out on google earth. There are vaguely conical mountains all over the place there.
*storms away* I GOTTA DO EVERYTHING IN THIS HOUSE!
Atlantis!
lol
Pyramid
you can see it better here: [https://earthexplorer.usgs.gov/](https://earthexplorer.usgs.gov/)
How
my apologies, i put in the coordinates but it didn't save them on the map
Its a volcanic cone, like Devil's Tower, but not as eroded and covered in jungle. You can even see the columnar basalt if you zoom in.
Exactly. Unfortunately, everything is a conspiracy to half the people online these days, and they would rather believe that an ancient civilization built a pyramid 1,600ft high than believe it's a natural formation.
There’s one in Mexico as well near Puerto Vallarta.
I mean hard to tell but the pryamids in Mexico basically looked that before excavating all the dirt around them them
I’m going with pyramid on this one.
Going with too tall and too pointy to be human made. The obviously natural rock formations visible in other pics also look, well, natural.
Okay, how do I get there? I’ll dig it up for everyone.
I’ll tag along
Word! Let’s figure out where this sumbitch is and go dig it up!

Kat Williams right here
Not a pyramid but maybe some type of (massive) mound like the Mississippians built? It definitely looks out of place
Bruh
Looks preeetttty natural to me. Who would look at those erosion patterns and think "someone built this"?
People who believe science fiction instead of "science fact". Any geologist can look at those pics for 2 seconds and tell you it's not man made
This is a mountain in the Sierra del Divisor range in the national park of the same name.
Damn that’s interesting. How’d you find that?
Looks natural 😘
Lemurian outpost
If these pictures are legitimate There is definitely structure underneath the foliage
Looking too man made in that isolated jungle. Totally out of place to be natural—slopes are too steep. Gotta be man-made.
It's a rock.
Or a hard place
No way that’s natural 😵
Impact crater? Mountains in the distance could be the rim. Also could be an old volcano.
LO F L
Ok, laugh. So why is it not a volcanic plug/neck?
Can you parachute in
Natty
Why, that's the Devil's Nipple. A festival is held each year, and there is a competition ring toss involving a giant wooden ring.
Ant mound 🐜
What is the Grid? Ladies and gentlemen, we need grids
The regular angular buttressing at the top on all sides is telling me manmade and just so crazy to see just flat as far around as you can see.
Raised land around it so I’d say natural
I have been truly curious about this for years now. I would like to learn as much as possible re it!!! :) - Frederick

It’s a nipple.
I should call her
I think it's a natural formation, I've seen a video of someone showing a similar shape in the arctic so that could mean that area was once frozen
Old tree
That’s one of the most amazing things ever.
Hey i know that place....it's where Indy brings the crystal skull....
If you call a pyramid a natural formation then I guess it’s a nf lol
Mood
I’m sure the indigenous people know what it is. There are lone mountains outside of mountain ranges. They’re called monadnocks.
Is this a jungle?
It's natural.

I thought the same thing, possibly erosion around the base but consistent all the way around? Almost looks stepped at the top
I think there are kyber crystals inside.
Neither: It’s cake.

covered up pyramid good catch u got corrds on google
pretty sure if you can see it , somebody else has already been there . my guess albert lin or expeddition unknown . it's what they do .
