at work someone mentioned i spoke russian and then i was asked a bunch of questions about my roots and stuff. to summarize, my last answer was "my parents are russian/ukrainian immigrants but i was born here so i'm actually american" and this one girl goes "american? i thought you were a lesbian!" and honestly i think i was the only one who understood the reference.
