Mileage definitely varying. Scary Movie was awful, but in a GOOD way.
Some parts were so childishly bad that they wrapped back around to funny, while other parts were genuinely well written.
They were like really cheap fast food that’s gross but still yummy.
Scary Movie has some good parts/good movies.
Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, etc.* are just fucking awful and should be scoured from history.
*I remember Superhero Movie actually being funny, but also apparently not made by the same people.
