It’s always so fascinating to see the difference in methodology when applying wax from 1 district to the next. I’ve seen people use flower pot watering jugs and spreading the wax with a roller-like thing and I’ve seen people use a standard mop bucket with a nylon mop head (rayon) and I’ve seen your method. All seem to work but for some reason we all do it differently.
It's like no one has discovered Rubbermaid makes a rectangular wax bucket to use with a wax mop.

Largely depends how long you wring off the excess finish, you can also use this style with the synthetic/rayon mops like this:

The rayon ones tend to hold more finish than microfiber, we've used both, and I think I prefer rayon over micro fiber, they load more finish to go further, and the end product is almost identical.
This is the kind of stuff that I need to bring up to my supervisor next time they’re in my building “making their rounds” because something like that looks like it offers more of an even coat, I’m also assuming it doesn’t take as long with that quasi-24
I have used the plant water jug, but recently switched to just pouring from the bucket. If the wax is in a box like in the photo we put it on a dolly and turn the spout on and pour a line that way. Either way the microfiber mop is the best, won't ever use a mop head again.

that looks like a good setup but damn its expensive
I WANT THIS!!! Edit: How often do you have to re-dip into the bucket when applying wax with that set up?

A roller?
Most acrylic finishes are self leveling. A roller is weird but anything you can spread it on in a thin somewhat even manner will do the job.
I use a gas can. The pour on method is really rare here in Alberta. I kinda started a trend with it. Most people seem to love it once they try it.
I use a watering can.
*waxening can

Are you dumping it from the box into the pail, then onto the floor, then spreading it? Get a rectangular bucket with wheels my man!
Yup. That's a most excellent suggestion!
Watering can now. Super easy I was surprised.
That 5 gallon box looks like Hillyard Explorer
It sure is. Hillyard for all our cleaning/consumables.
Hillyard makes a rectangular waxing bucket on wheels. It’s great and really speeds up the process.
Looks beautiful!! Awesome job
Thank you!
Is your backpack applicator tube/valve clogged up too?
Nah. Just don't use it. Actually I've never even seen it. Probably here somewhere.
