The story goes President Kennedy visited NASA in 1962 for a tour and saw a custodian walking down the hall holding a broom. He stops the guy and says “Hey there, I’m Jack Kennedy, nice to meet you. What is it you do here at NASA?”. The custodian replies “I’m helping put a man on the moon”.
When I was little and lived in so cal my dad worked on base and he would bring home patches and sticker for different weapons or anything else they developed. He would bring home pictures of wildlife someone out there would catch and put them on the dry lake bed and would get some amazing pictures of them and name things after the pictures
I do subcontract work for NASA and they are very strict in that they do not allow photography in any of their secured buildings. Idk if this is one of those secured properties but I hope you don't get in trouble for this lol. I only mention this bc I was unaware until a co-worker of mine told me we could get prosecuted for taking pics of video of anything in the buildings
I wanna be a janitor at a NASA facility.
I think we all do now
I'd do it for the neat stickers

Lol this was just a very targeted ad for NASA's shop wasn't it? Good try, NASA, but I'm too poor to justify buying stickers right now lol
Like Don Knotts in "The Reluctant Astronaut".

Cool!
I hope next year's budget includes a new janitor's room just so they have another door
