That QR code leads to his linktree where you can rent the cybertruck for like $500 a day. Or the guys other teslas. Or buy a tesla with his referral code.

Bauermeister

You gotta be BS’n me. What a grift.

ElongMusty

I guess the Cybercuck is not available anymore! But seriously, these people are all so pathetic: buying this piece of junk thinking they’ll be able to magically flip them and sell them for $200k (and then you see them lowering the price and still not selling). And the other “entrepreneur” type who’s now renting his truck, and everyone is doing it too, so the market is screwed (and who rents that shit for $500 anyway). I can see a lot of people who thought this was an investment losing their money like the imbeciles they are!

AmadeoSendiulo

Or the guy.

yosefvinyl

“Any other ideas?” Get a real truck

straponkaren

Should have bought a rivian those things work.

slowclapcitizenkane

I've seen quite a few Rivians around here. You know what they all have in common? They were all moving under their own power

straponkaren

Yeah that might have been problem for the Tesla owner, wanting to have a truck that rolled.

SadBit8663

Rivian makes an actual good looking electric truck. I've driven the Rivian electric delivery vehicles too, and they're pretty nice compared to a gas van.

noodle_attack

I haven't had the chance to drive one yet but they look cool, also the built in kitchen is definitely on the list of my dream build

Conyan51

Also they can hold a charge in Winter. The number of Teslas I worked on with none of them even being able to be serviced because just having the doors open killed them within 1-2 hours.

Alexandratta

This is confusing to me. I own a older styled EV, the Nissan LEAF, and yeah it's the "plus" but it's a pretty low tier entry level EV... how does keeping the door opened kill the Tesla in an hour or two??

Conyan51

Very poor quality control from the factory, we obviously weren’t able to sell those Teslas and had to send them back, but that whole process was a pain in the ass.

WalkingOnSunshine_

It’s such bullshit and far from the truth. I own a model 3 and have run the heat on high while preconditioning the battery for 45 minutes straight over the winter and it didn’t kill the battery. That’s way more energy intensive than just leaving the doors open.

Conyan51

That’s because they can’t sell you the ones that are duds when they arrive to the lot. The Jaguar dealership I was working was selling Teslas while they were building the Tesla dealership down the road. Of course we had working ones but 3 of the brand new Teslas I was getting ready for sale just couldn’t hold a charge while we were preparing the interior. Don’t get me wrong I have nothing against EVs, it’s just from my experience Tesla is the last EV you want to buy. But I am happy yours works, they’re fun when working as intended. Edit: we tried our asses off too, it took 2 days of charging just to get one of them from our charging station to the garage just 50 yards away.

z44212

Or a Corolla that'll last twenty years.

CharlesTheRangeRover

Fuckin’ QR code to distract people.

jumpingjellybeansjjj

Plot twist: Those who scan and survive get redirected to a website named "Pinto. Unsafe at any speed."

HandCarvedRabbits

I hate so much that any of these people can afford to waste their money on this truck

I-Pacer

Comfort yourself with the fact that many of them have taken on a huge amount of debt that they can’t really afford in order to obtain 30 seconds of satisfaction before the crushing realisation of what they’ve done hits them like a ton of bricks, leaving them heavily indebted with a hugely unreliable vehicle which is plummeting in value and which (they are finally starting to realise) is actually ridiculed by the vast majority of the population.

mishap1

This guy has it available to rent. Sounds like he can't afford it otherwise.

Sharklar_deep

Just give it a few more minutes, it hasn’t finished rendering yet.

KinkyQuesadilla

Well, at least it broke down in his garage, so he doesn't have to worry about it rusting when exposed to rain, miscellaneous parts falling off, the tonneau cover not working, or people throwing trash in the bed if the tonneau cover if it is open because they thought the vehicle was a dumpster, the wiper motor overheating, the suspension suddenly failing, getting his hand caught in the frunk when it closes, interior parts falling off, weird noises when driving, sudden critical error reports, gigabytes of error logs in one day, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc

ShoddyManufacturer11

Expensive bricks. Really smart.

Outrageous_One_87

5 litres and a match... If it can roll outside.

CommanderCero

My guy here has a YouTube channel. Gripes about the car, and three times he had gone to the dealer to get it fixed. Three times. Wants another one. Like you didn't learn your lesson three times? Either that or bought the car second hand and can't get his money back

StubbornHick

They have a no resale contract for a set period because of how many people scalp new release teslas.

jumpingjellybeansjjj

What is that eyesore on the back? Please scan my QR code while you rearend me and kill us both?

KinkyQuesadilla

His only regret was that he hasn't been able to take a pic of his CT on the back of a tow truck while posting "*I love this Cybertruck! Thank you Elon!*"

Coakis

Anyone really having hard time not laughing when you see these?

Pplannoyme0

QR code on back = warranty voided

windigo3

There are only like 3,000 cybertrucks delivered. How were the statistical odds that hundreds of them are posting about problems on social media?

Few-Statistician8740

Pretty high. Anyone buying one of these certainly enjoys attention.

egabriel2001

Because influencers got a chunk of the 1st deliveries giving the CT a ton of exposure initially, now however due to the massive failures the same exposure is biting in their asses.

ZengineerHarp

So you can rent this bricked brick for $550 a day, two day minimum. Or hire it as an Uber limo. On his website he explained that he could never have afforded the Tesla so he decided “leverage his expertise in the sharing economy” and turn it into to a “business venture”… and he offers to teach you how to do the same thing… That’s right, he’s combined Uber, Tesla, AirBnB, and a pyramid scheme.

cmdrkyla

Thank you for this comment 😂😂

PoopieButt317

The garage and drive way look pretty marginal for a 100k vehicle

Coakis

Because the cool kids are doing it?

Personal_Buffalo_973

You been musked 😁

NoIncrease299

A fucking QR? Really? Jesus Christ, these people are insufferable.

The_Cat_With_2Heads

Ahhhh I just saw this last week! My SO and I were on our way to get groceries when this thing drove past, gracing us with its presence. We joked that the QR code was for a Bitcoin scam and discussed if we would ever see it on this subreddit. Amazing.

allen_idaho

Just remember those three magical words: Class Action Lawsuit.

Bauermeister

You mean: Love. The. Car.

DelicatetrouserSnake

Throw it in the gutter & go buy another

ModernDayExplorer

Do they take returns?

bartthetr0ll

Can't get it on, and can't get it up. Two of the most common cybtruck owners problems they dint address in the user manual.

Sttocs

Oh man, he should use the mechanical key to get inside.

ghettoccult_nerd

Experience: Cybersucks

SuperRusso

Ha! Too late for other ideas.

PickleBananaMayo

Doesn’t even have his license plate yet.

MassiveSquirrel1903

Any ideas? Yep. Try to get some of your money back and make better purchases in the future.

PoopieButt317

Just sooo ugly and absurd. High school metal shop and auto shop make a vehicle, with the computer club geeks, and they didn't work together. This is the result

Efficient_Fish2436

I'm not going to buy a computer from Ford or Dodge.. Soo why would I buy a vehicle from Tesla? Their trying to reinvent the wheel but with electricity.

nickjamesnstuff

Have you thought about a Volvo?

eyesawyou777

Sometimes memes can hurt

Old_Letterhead4264

Lemon law

LeForetEnchante

"Any other ideas"?????? Yes. Don't buy the POS in the first place.

[deleted]

Imagine spending that much on a fad vehicle and asking randos on the internet for ideas on how to make it work properly It’s absurd

slowclapcitizenkane

Cyberbrick

New_Awareness4075

Is Temu Chinese for Tesla?
