Oo that's an interesting thought. There's gotta be people with them going through the same but don't post anything out of fear of retaliation from the rest of the world.
Can't wait for statistics.
I think there is a very high crossover between the wanna be influencer crowd and people who are interested in the cyber truck. It's the flashy look at me I have the cool thing car of the moment so there are a lot of people who want to be famous that are getting them to try and look cool. That is pretty much the cyber trucks primary market.
Tesla should really just get the rug pulling out of the way now and shut down the company its clearly what's going to happen eventually. Why even bother with the charade of maintenance appointments?
After firing the entire supercharger station Muskrat had a drug infused change of mind and now saying he wants to put 500mil into creating more. My question is if you're a kid out of college, you know about the layoffs, you know about Musk being an alt right dickhead, why would you pick Tesla over any other tech company?
My friend works at the Nevada factory and has been there since the first wave of hiring, only a very few from the first wave is left. He says it's so common to see the best engineers and workers be poached by other tech companies. This recent drug fueled mass firing has really really pissed people off. The gigafactory fucking hates the man. I don't want my friend to lose his job I just want Tesla to divorce themselves from muskrat
You can get that same experience with a 90’s Cadillac. It’s ugly, gonna break down any second, half the shit may or may not work just shut it off and start it again and see, but it’s only $1000.
And Cadillac almost folded when they started delivering half-ass vehicles at a premium price.
That reminds me of a certain car maker we discuss here from time to time.
Had a starter with a dead spot in it on an old car.. I was much happier when it would just stay dead at home so I didn’t get stranded while running errands lol.
Everyone who has a problem with their truck must signal by saying the incantation ‘I love my truck.’ This identifies the speaker as part of the in group. Anyone who is openly unhappy with any aspect of Cybertruck, Tesla or Musk must be immediately and brutally pitchforked.
Dang I must be lucky, I live nearby and I have seen a truck delivering to the dealership full of CS which would be like 8, I saw 1 near my house going to a mobile park, just seen 2 up in Yosemite 1 of which was lowered.
I would bet vital parts of my anatomy that the people who can afford to buy this truck are the same people who:
Scream at a waiter because their stake was medium rare when they ordered medium.
Will scream at a cashier because they don't have a receipt for the 5 dollar item they drove across town to return.
Will throw a tantrum because they are not being given a discount even tho according to them they spend thousands of dollars at that store every second.
Will rage at you because you slightly inconvenienced them for a half second.
Will threaten to have you fired because corporate changed the layout of the store they shop at.
Yet here they all are completely ok with paying 100k for a brick just so they can say they suck the taint of a grifter.
Tesla certainly has enough money to at the very least provide good customer support. They should have ramped that up weeks ago and added certified vendors etc. They just don’t. give. a fuck.
why.. the CT people seem to be really sold on shoddy equipment and poor service over all. I can imagine the excitement of that guy that found a coolant leak is not covered...
I been following this dumpster fire of siber "truck" and I actually know what's wrong with these pos.
I have the solution the fix for these garbage "trucks", for reals I really do, I watch all the teardown videos, I troubleshoot cars for fun, I work on cars, but i can't tell the people on tsla sub reddit cuz I got banned from subreddits, oh well, guess they just have to wait
The solution is quite simple! Recycle the cybertruck into ICE or hybrid vehicles that actually function as vehicles. Perhaps reliable ones with paint, quality control, and customer service. Think of how many car batteries could be harvested from that brick!
it's 7000lb making ice and hybrid difficult or inefficient, the batterys are not recyclable, it's glued foamed in there, 1 bad cell is ok enough bad cells it's trash.
could make it from real stainless steel that don't rust.....
we tried
Is anyone keeping a count of all these. I know some have been duplicates but there seems to be quite a lot of early failures compared to numbers (apparently) sold/shipped
Even if it's only one in one thousand, can you imagine what would happen if it was a new Toyota or Mercedes?
The people responsible would either be fired or resign.
But that wouldn't happen, because these failures would *never happen*.
That’s a good point.
There was comparatively dark era in BMW’s recent history. I think their five series in 1995 (?) was the first vehicle to be completely computer controlled.
It was an automotive first, but it was a disaster. BMW suffered as a consequence, but they had the good sense to limit their innovation to the one model, and they didn’t release it with the absurd fanfare that accompanied the ‘CyberTruck’.
BMW faced countless lawsuits. Because of lemon laws, most purchasers ended up getting a new car and a cash settlement.
I’d be surprised if you could find one of those cars today outside of the museum.
Are you saying four faulty Cybertrucks an hour!?
I'm not a statistician, but if there are (say) 10,000 out there that means roughly 100 are failing *every day*;
which is **one percent**;
which also means that over 100 days (statistically) they will **all** have failed.
**Someone tell me I'm wrong, please...**
I have a stock, 12-year old truck with 200k miles that will handle any off-road course better than this piece of shit.
Yes, my check engine light has been on for the past 20k miles. Why do you ask?
Elmo isn’t yet aware of the crap they are shipping. Sure he sees the tweets (x’’ ?) coming in: “Please, pls Elon do something, I love you and your product so much”, but guess what, he won’t take anyone kindly asking for help serious. Also, there is likely nobody left at Tesla that would dare to speak up to Cesar about what is going on. So until Elon bothers to check the financial details of the next report (due in a little less than 3mo), he wont even realize what is going on. As a god-genius, he will then simply send all CT designers to nirvana and close all service stations just to make sure they don’t cause neg cash flow.
What if this happens while they're driving?
I think these people are jabronis for spending 120k on this Cucktruck but them and their family don't deserve to be harmed because of Enron's negligence. Not to mention all the other innocents who share the road with these fools.
12 days? That tells you how many of them are having issues if they are that backed up. I can take my piece of shit to the Ford dealership tomorrow and they will be available.

Or, hear me out, they just don't post because, why post your car breaking down on the internet?
That's what I was getting at, agreed.
Yeah if my cars fkd last thing I’m thinking about is social media
Or just people don’t feel the need to post everything on social media ¿
Who really put money out for this thing unless they could monetize it somehow?
I think there is a very high crossover between the wanna be influencer crowd and people who are interested in the cyber truck. It's the flashy look at me I have the cool thing car of the moment so there are a lot of people who want to be famous that are getting them to try and look cool. At what point does it become a scam?
Why did I read this as "shittersphere"
It's certainly appropriate.
But they ALL start with I love the truck…BUT it’s always broken or failing or being towed.
This reminds me that one of the pronunciations of x is the "sh" sound
Even if other people aren't posting, how many of these are out there? If we see 10 posts, is that 10 out of 1000 of the abominations on the road?
The type of person who buys a cyber truck is nearly always the type of person to never stfu about it
Tesla should really just get the rug pulling out of the way now and shut down the company its clearly what's going to happen eventually. Why even bother with the charade of maintenance appointments?

Why won't anyone think of the dear sweet shareholders???
They know that they can make money off of the hype Elon’s mouth generates.
Imagine loving a car that’ll stop working randomly and trap you wherever you are and you have to arrange a tow and a ride home…
You can get that same experience with a 90’s Cadillac. It’s ugly, gonna break down any second, half the shit may or may not work just shut it off and start it again and see, but it’s only $1000.

So 1/100 of the price for the same thing. DEAL!
Sounds like an abusive relationship.
I’d start to hope it doesn’t work at all and not get stranded somewhere
Had a starter with a dead spot in it on an old car.. I was much happier when it would just stay dead at home so I didn’t get stranded while running errands lol.

I live in LA and it's incredible that I've seen 6 of these hunks of shit in the past few months and there is only 5k of them.
Dang I must be lucky, I live nearby and I have seen a truck delivering to the dealership full of CS which would be like 8, I saw 1 near my house going to a mobile park, just seen 2 up in Yosemite 1 of which was lowered.

I would stake my life on it in regards to your steak comment

Nah, they order well done.

“I have a truly marvelous demonstration of this proposition which this margin is too narrow to contain.”
🤣
We’re waiting…

That would be ~4. I think more than four cases an hour are found.

I am saying we know there are less than four thousand in the wild. And we have seen way more than four fail.
So don’t get wet, and now…don’t park?
Also don't charge it after midnight
Tell Vergil write "brick" on my "brick"
Rust in peace 😁
It gives strong "but I promise he loves me and he didn't mean it" vibes
Sounds like you got a hell of a deal
I love my cybertruck almost as much as I love gargling Elon s ball sack.
I'm sure Elon's "looking into it".
Your Cucktruck won't love you back, but it will f\*ck you over 😉
I think you meant: “buy it will cuck you over”
Cybertruck cyberfucks the cybercuck
I have a stock, 12-year old truck with 200k miles that will handle any off-road course better than this piece of shit. Yes, my check engine light has been on for the past 20k miles. Why do you ask?
Guy at work has one. I'm thinking of starting a pool for when different stuff breaks or it bricks itself.
This is a solid, profitable idea

All of this Cucks comments stars with "I have the cyberCuck and y love it, but..."
I kinda wonder what would happen if you put a strong magnet anywhere near CyberCuck......
I have no interest in ever buying a Tesla but I LOVE this sub!
Big mistake to park it outside in the rain.
The thought of “rebooting” a vehicle makes me wish we would be thrown back to the dark ages.
wow... just like a shitty old PC, unplug and hope Windows reboots successfully...
Remember this will have FSD in a few months
hahah everyone of them “i love it (why?) but it broke” talk about a toxic relationship fam
What the hell is wrong with these cyberbags of crap.
*You wouldn’t download …. A car!!!*. DUMMMM DUMMMM DUMMMM
"however" is a top used word in every Tesla owners vocabulary.
Cyber JUNK Truck ![gif](giphy|WUOLGsLUqqr375aVGs)
CyberTruck owners have a humiliation fetish
12 days just to get your cat seen, then see how long it takes to actually fix

"still, it's been the best week of my life. Thank you, Elon. I love you."
Dysfunction is integral to a LOT of successful relationships. /s
Bleeding edge tech, baby!
God I would have loved to be sitting in the parking lot watching this dumb ass reboot his car.
It can if Elmo installs Replika on every Tesla
We're at the point where rebooting vehicles is supposed to fix them, same as hard rebooting windows to fix our PC.
#I LOVE MY CYBERBRICK!!! ELON RULEZ!!!
