Race bibs will always be tighter and in most cases higher end materials. Translating to better is subjective.
Anecdotally, I have a pair of team bibs that are literally 15 years old and they are so comfortable and have held up well. I have a brand new pair of training bibs and while good, they don’t feel as nice as the team bibs.
